Good reporting. A turning point of sorts. Did you see those jackasses that should never have been a single vote?

So the system that was in placed before independence was not that bad, was it?

Kenny has just introduced a two-edge sword.

Local government and the Senate ought to be the training ground for parliamentarians. Hey that was so bastardized under John Compton, that he put real broomsticks as representatives and brought some people with real brains through the senate. John Compton guaranteed that he remained in power as superman.

We are going to get immediate tension now the councils may have a different agenda, separate and distinct from the members on those councils want and what the government or administration of the day wants.

Elected parliament members are going to chafe at the bit if they cannot get the favourite canvasser to get a street light or a patch near his or her home done quickly if at all.
