This is a greedy country, there is already food prices that are the worst in the world, can anyone name another where the rice of food is ridiculously high and the wages rediculously low. The goverment should be subsidising all food that is imported in, and create factories to convert basic foods like fruits into juice instead of exporting foods that are them imported back at a high prices. This system is majee!

Emma, the price of bread has not changed in Egypt since the days of the Pharoahs; it has been subsidized by all succeeding governments for that long. So to inflict more pain and hardship on the poor St.Lucians who, only 4 months ago, voted you and your SLP into office is diabolical.

If you are looking for ways to save the government money, take a 10% pay cut; you and your fellow parliamentarians. Don't do it on the backs of poor St.Lucians.
