CARICOM is a ticking coal mine cave-in.. up to now NO agreement on an OPEN SKIES POLICY..regionally. Come on all that affects air travel with the region in so many ways.

Trinidad is being hammered & inasmuch as i would like to add to their woes i think regionally we can make this work to caribbean travellers benefit..i know its all biz but there is no unity when money is concerned and i think compromises can be worked 4 the benefit of our ppl, WE NEED SOME INNOVATIVE WAYS OF KEEPING FARES AT LOWER LEVELS

Now to redjet & liat who do not get hand outs.. Red jet is unique to all these other regional airlines becaues they ve got the best biz model to become profitable although its aircraft of choice isnt the best fuel efficient ones on the market. there is always a place for Redjet and without it in the mix now.. really puts a stop sign on pure regional travel.. when will come the day of fixed air fares at periodic intervals during the yr that we the customers or caribbean nationals can travel much cheaper than our northen and european counterparts becoming the envy of other regional blocks.. only then Caricom would make sense until then CARICOM IS A WASTE OF TIME..

SINCE THE SMART-ASS JAMAICANS SCUPPERED THE FEDERATION, HUMPTY-DUMPTY CAN NOT BE PUT BACK TOGETHER AGAIN!

Forget CARI-GO, IT AIN'T COMING AT ALL. IT CYAN COME! IT JUST LIKE THE FEDERATION. THE CLOCK ON THE WALL IS SHOWING HALF-PAST SIX FOR A LONG TIME NOW. IT NOT GOING BACK STRAIGHT UP AGAIN. DON'T FOOL YOURSELF.

The loss of RedJet is a loss for the Caribbean traveller. Trinidad will not assist, because it does not benefit them. At least they don't think it will.
