100 days. But only 50 reasons!

Yes. SLP only working half of the day each day!

Wow! The SLP is taking credit for everything that was already in the pipe-line during the last administration.

As soon as the Vieux Fort Airport and the Port Castries renovations get under way, the SLP will take credit for those also.

They didn't stop the projects just like the UWP did before them. So they can take the credit for doing the finishing darn job. Lass parlay bayteese, sakray couyon!

people expect miracles to take place right away but that's not so at all. Good things come to those who wait and don't expect things to happen overnight. Therefore let us wait and be patient for the better days, for it will come.

O.k. A lot of this stuff cannot be measured. How do you measure a thrust to do something? Does making a thrust to do something mean that it is accomplished? What if there is a thrust to do something and then that's it, nothing else is done?

On the other hand, there seems to be some progress on certain things. The previous government may have secured the funds for fixing the roads after Tomas, however, there was very little progress on that front after all this time.

Each administration which leaves office will have some projects in the pipeline at various stages of completion. This administration seems to have just jumped in to complete most of the projects which were started by the previous administration. When the UWP administration assumed office, the mental hospital which was started by the SLP administration was about 80% complete, yet it took them almost four years to finish it.

There is a lot that needs to be done and it can't be accomplished in one day or 100 days. Things need to be thought through carefully before major decisions and major mistakes are made. Both administrations have been guilty of that.

While I feel that this administration has done some progressive things thus far, I don't believe that all the 50 things listed in this article can be viewed as accomplishments. Measurable accomplishments.

It is clear that neither party by itself can deliver what St. Lucia and St. Lucians need. It would make sense for all of them to work together to do what's best for the country, but everybody wants to lead even when what they're fighting to lead is slipping away. Besides, working together for the good of the country would not be good politics, now would it?

Even the country is divided on what's best for the country. So let the dogfight continue; it's the best form of government known to man.

I find that article a damn good one. Half of you'll are just sit on your lazy asses and do nothing while others attempt to make real contributions.
