The Carricom heads of government should take note. There has always been a defficency of unity among Carribbean governments and it's people. We just cannot unite at any level. All attempts to bring some semblance of unity in the Carribbean have failed and Carricom is no different.

In the best of times, there should be in the region a standing structure of regular and meaningful dialogue and consultation between governments and the private sector. In the worst of times – such as the times in which we now live, the urgent necessity for such a standing structure is a vital necessity.

Read this again. See the foolishness mate there talking. Talk, talk, talk. Dialogue, dialogue, dialogue.

Hey man! What the hell you think Carifta, Caricom and Csme has been doing since their creation?

Man, only mad people do the same things over and over and expect a different result.

Let us hope something concrete and meaningful came out of this seemingly repetitive colloquy.
