Poor jab the country. I wish I could believe what Kenny just said there and I wish I could feel the improvement too.

I guess the only people who are happy are those in Kenny's inner circle. Me, and the rest of St Lucia, Chu nou pa bon!

Year after year the same promises.
We will fix the banana industry.
We will stop accumulating debt.
We will stop the killings.
We will improve the economy.
We will imorove the quality of life.
We will create jobs with $100 million .
Year after year the snake oil salesman with the forked tongue purrs out the poisoneous silver words and lucians lap it up like babies.

Poor jabs!

We are on course to bring this country to its knees! Wait, we're already on our knees!

During the last election someone said Dr. Lewis was a good boy and therefore politics was not suited for him. Well, it looks like Dr. Lewis has learned very quickly how to be a politician in St. Lucia. Sad :(

You so right about Robert Lewis. Not only has he changed but this man is different from the arrogant group whom he serves with. What Robert Lewis don't know is that what goes up must come down. He might think he is in a safe seat but even those who think so one day finds out its no longer safe. A petty Romanus Lansiquote is no longer here for him to ask -

I meant he is no different from the arrogant group whom he serves with.

St Lucia is special alright - but not in the way Dr K A believes. What is he doing about the crime, solving of crimes and bringing criminals to justice? If the outside world knew about the high level of crime etc the economy would really be in a mess as no one would visit. The place is not safe. Action not words needed.

I agree 100%

Me again : Once ST Lucia start getting more negative publicity they will act.

We had five years of a UWP government, and what did they achieve order than bleed the island resources, With millions given to aide by Debbie, The fire of St Jude, The Taiwanese moneys to every constituency, Where did all the moneys go to,
Regionally and internationally, We lost our Reputation, Now this government after what they inherit We should be proud of them, and wish them all the best. But what do we do We allow the media and journalist to cloud our minds with gabbage and believing that by finding fault, we will make our country better.
Look at the history of the UWP and labour Which once have had the most corrupt ministers who rob st lucia left and right from the Compton administration to Stevenson king time. Do the math and think, Its our country, Its our future Its our children future.
The two evils of our society are the media and journalist, in that over the years they have done more damage to our society by not telling or educating lucians about the truth. Let us pray for our government especially in this rough economic times.

I disagree. The three evils in our society are SLP, UWP and now U for supporting their crap. They have brained washed people like you to think and act small. Sad you don't have a brain of your own!

On course? Not so fast, sir. I did not see any stats that said that the economy is in recovery mode. None whatsoever! So where did you get that rosy picture from?

Yet again, like John Compton and King before you, you seem to equate begging successfully with transformative economics and change. What about the structural unemployment that is being masked by the TEMPORARY PROGRAMME called STEP? When will SLP do something serious and meaningful about unemployment and debt reduction?

We cannot rely on that failed marketing guru from Air Jamaica to help out. See? Not even the presidency of a not-for-profit tourist organization he can seem able to get now.

Did Dr. Kripple cripple his style abroad? Did he lose all credibility with sensible people in the region and the region's who's who, after the quiver of question marks gathered surrounding the veracity of testimony in the court case on the Tuxedo Villa Affair brought before the OECS Court of Appeal?

I hate to hear people giving praise to 'party'; saying UWP or SLP that. The focus should be best freaking 'result bearers'. Politicians work for us and not the other way around. No party should feel that it is 'blame free' enough to be looked at as God sent.

You can either do the job or not, based on your track record of delivery. You can either give the representation or not. And you as a politician should be subject to every bit of public scrutiny. You are in a position of major responsibility and vehicles like the media are supposed to hammer down on persons who are presenting themselves for leadership.... To whom much is given, much is tested.

And, its okay to make mistakes...because if you don't, you never learn humility and strength. It would benefit us as a country if we looked past stupid politics. ....And we would also benefit if we didn't wait for information to be fed to us by other people, but rather educated ourselves, ourselves. This is the 21 st century. We are free men and women who like to flaunt our rights....well we have the right to pick up a book, surf the web, ask questions......not blame media or other people for our laziness. Because whether the media put it out there or not, and no matter the perspective, it you wanted to know (whatever the information) you can be proactive, and find out.

This government and the former governments have failed the people of this country. We the people have failed ourselves because we keep putting our faith in the same people who continuously destroy that faith. This country sucks!

The fact that this man has found it the most fitting thing to speak about the country's critical decisions and initiatives on a political platform rather than through the Parliament of the country; SPEAKS VOLUMES.

His very body language in the picture gives the distinct impression of a person who lies and is deceptive. That's my view from observing.

blogger no.1 what can I say you must be an illiterate.

Please let me take you to our neighboring island of dominica,
Let us look at the two parties that have dominate there, UWP and SLP does that ring a bell.
Look at how the Prime minister has transform dominica and how the UWP has malign him over the years Yet still he has prevail The UWP will do anything and say anything but at the end of the day, The people look back.
It is so Ashame that we chat so much nonsense instead encouraging our government as they tried to take st lucia out of this Quagmire cause by the global crisis and the fact that we had a government there for 5 years and used all the moneys for their own purpose, instead of advancing the country forward, We became a byward regionally and internationally.
Where do we want fair Helen to go from there.
Do u want a fired manager from air Jamaica to be the leader of fair Helen.
Do you want someone who lied at the tuxedo villa affair to lead.
What do we want, for fair Helen to bleed more, God forbid.
I hope we put party aside and think, talk, write what is good for fair Helen, for our future, and our children's future.
May god help us, Especially in this time of information and Enlightenment.

As much as I hate the self-inflicted blunders that Kenny has made and the endangerment of the future growth of the country that has constricted our development, if Kenny would avoid these in the future, Saint Lucia I feel would be much better off with him than with the failed marketing executive of defunct Air Jamaica. He did not save Air Jamaica then. He cannot do a better job at saving Lucia now. He has no proven track record on anything!

Mistake! My mistake. I forgot. He did side with the rest of the UWP ROGUE cabinet, to leak funds to a fellow cabinet member.

They got away with that, until the OECS Court of Appeals, with an UNELECTED MINISTER OF TOURISM, giving questionable testimony AS PER THE JUDGE's RULING before that court, like Air Jamaica, SHOT THAT DOWN!

Anonymous said...

We should learn our lesson that After the death of sir john and choosing King as the prime minister, What a disaster. Fair Helen is still reeling, not only from the effects of the economy, But bad leadership, no accountability Instead of using the moneys to Advance St Lucia forward they pocketed it.
Chastenet as tourism minister was even more guilty, because he spends and did not give king or his cabinet no account, He had no respect for king nor the cabinet of ministers. and now you have people who knows better choose him as political leader, Even some just walk around him believing he is a savior [only if they knew his intentions]
I hope our media as well as journalist start probing him, His experience, educational background,His time at air Jamaica, as minister of tourism.
Then contrast him and Kenny and see who is better suited to lead fair Helen.

I do wonder how juke bois feel when he call Chastenet TI PREN TOUTE I guess he knows how much undermine of king and his cabinet
Please lets face reality and Flambeaus allow the government to find a way to bring St lucia forward. Thanks for ya all cooperation.
