Nkrumah said...: I too noticed the very prominent notices from the Vigie roundabout all the way into the city. I too wonder whether they were sent without notification. if they were sent with notification, I wonder whether any measures were put in place to properly integrate them back into the society as should and is scarcely if at all done in the case of our local prison system. Again whenever such things come up whether the environment or crime etc the first consideration is tourist and tourism. We are never first on the list; we who are directly affected by such things rather than the tourists who are here two weeks in the year. It always irks me when my students give me such responses? There is something in our psyche which is way off. We are far removed from ourselves and our realities. What percentage of our GDP is made in Tourism? How is that percentage distributed?
