So sorry to hear of your predicament, Dr, Dumanois. As a citizen of this Island, I am scared to venture out. Any time I am driving conducting chores, I always seem to have a sick feelings that a stray bullet will hit me...sad.
I do not trust the police force. Why would anyone come forward with information concerning crimes when policemen cannot be trusted with these information. If you do, you are putting your family and your life at risks; because sooner than later; the bad guys will be privy of the informant's tattled, courtesy of the police force.
That's my say on the subject.
A question for the good Doc...do you leave your doors open back home, wherever that is? The crimes from your big cities are finally reaching us, so don't blame us entirely, your people taught our people to be criminals in Paradise. Stop exporting violence.
Charles you are not alone my grand parents are running back to America as well, i will follow shortly. Run Charles run.St Lucia is too small for this level of bad news.
Sometimes I believe the criminals are the only ones taking the country seriously when they are willing to take a gun and go solve their own problems.
Dr we need to change this government, they are incompetent also there are ministers who are criminals.
They have no solution to this current problem. What a shame!

and if you go to another island, it's all the same.
