Christians can be the most deceitful of so-called religious people on the face of this earth.
They say too, that the devil will cite scripture when it is suitable for his cause. See many walking devils in the guise of politicians we have in our midst?
To Anon ... A "Christian" is one who believes in the teachings of Jesus CHRIST, hence = Christian. Weather one's religion is Catholic, Anglican, Methodist, 7th Day Adventist, etc - we are all Christians who believe and worship in a church.
You are in no position to cast stones on Christians as being the most deceitful of so-called religious people.
If you stated that you are "agnostic", then I would leave you alone, and not comment on your anti-religious rant.
Micah well said loud and clear. I agree with every single word of this article well written and challenges these profess christains out there shouting their blessings. They forgot the rebuke of Jesus when he walk this earth.
The real shame is that we are so religious sometimes we forget that Christianity is about having a relationship with The Trinity. Most people who claim they are Christian don't even have a bible and so profess their Christianity as being blessed because of their material possessions.We forget that the wealth Jesus accumulated while on earth was 12 disciples. He was born in a stable, a carpenter, died on a cross with no designer clothes on and was buried, in a tomb, not in an expensive coffin. Humility is very hard for some Christians to live by.
Wonders will never cease. Amazing. Until recently Micah's description of christian believers was exactly what and how he practiced his faith. Has he been disfellowshiped or just too swellheaded?
Men or christians never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religous convictions.
There is one man, a government minister, who seems to be taking God's name in vain again and again. We all know this man is a liability to St Lucia in general, and society in particular, god has a special whip to whipped his behind; one with SEVEN branches.
THE SEVEN BRANCHES WILL WHIP YOUR OWN BEHIND. NEITHER YOU NOR MICAH IS IN ABSOLUTELY NO POSITION TO JUDGE ANYONE ABOUT ANYTHING. YOU LUCIANS ARE JUST TOO DAMN GULLIBLE. IF ANYONE FEELS HIM OR HERSELF TO BE BLESSED. WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THAT. NO ONE IS STOPPING ANYONE FROM FEELING BLESSED. SO BE BLESSED. YOU STUPID FICKLE ST. LUCIANS.

WE NEED MORE WORK AND LESS RELIGION IN THIS COUNTRY.
Micah, I abstain from comment. There are those who will go to war because of their religion. The philosophy of Malcolm X is where I stand. "We will get along fine, as long as we keep your religion between ourselves and our God".
