Obviously if aid is being brought in, it is likely to come from the donor country. That's a no-brainer!
There was no need to Kamla to even suggest a quid pro quo. The role played by OECS consumers in T&T's economy alone is enough to justify aid from T&T with no strings attached. Besides what does she have to say to CLICNO policy holders?
She was insensitive at a time when people were disoriented. All we wanted to hear was, we'll stand by you. God bless the OECS, CARICOM can die cuz nobody will miss it.

I agree. Maybe the PM doesn't know know that more than 50% of the products used in home building in the OECS come from T&T anyway.
For blogger # 1: It wouldn't surprise me if many of the products donated by the US are made in China and not in the US
