With all there doctors in government,institutional bureaucracy and Lawyers in St.Lucia our country is still very sick.

We need to reform parliament to include a Citizen government that is less focus on partisan politice and more to the country's national interest.

The writer hit the nail on the head. INCOMPETENCE, MALFEASANCE [DISHONESTY] and CORRUPTION is exactly what has put St. Lucia in that state. And this permeates the entire PUBLIC SERVICE in St. Lucia. And this has been the case with both the UWP and worst, with the SLP. When Kenny Anthony was placed by the people in Government, it was purely, that he would change the political direction, practises and guiding principles of politics and governance in St. Lucia, but alas, he too was DISHONEST, and we the people never saw the light of day, neither with respect to ACCOUNTABILITY or GOOD GOVERNANCE in St. Lucia. And this is why he is so hated in St. Lucia, and dumb and arrogant enough, not to even understand that the people do not want him back in Government.

Persons who are competent and honest in the Government/ Public Service are treated as if they are the criminals. So today, St. Lucia suffers, because those who ought to have taken a principled stand, never did, that is, the churches, the Chamber of Commerce,the Civil Service Association, all those bloody bloodsuckers. Now, they are all losing out, BIG TIME.
