Yes indeed. There are uncertain times ahead. I think Jeanine resgination may have thrown this election wide open. Anything is possible no matter with what party she hook up with.

Jeanine has demonstrated more integrity than other members of her former party. We must read between the lines in her statement, namely that there are sinister forces at work within the UWPs. I advise to be careful her life is in danger. Those sinister forces are extremly dangerous to her and anybody else who stand in their way. Why do you think Kenny with all the evidence in his power has threatened but never exposed those sinister forces, why has Rick never exposed Fredicks let me tell you its for fear of their lives.
So St Lucia government is being run by a criminal who all are in fear of. We who love Helen cannot allow this to continue. Let's take strenth from the people of Egypt who said enough is enough.

The people of Egypt have a moral compass. They know right from wrong. In St. Lucia right and wrong are relative. It depends on who is doing it. If you are SLP, Kenny can do no wrong. Stop criticizing him. You hate him if you do.

If you are UWP a jailbird is the most proper person to represent you and the country. If you are a drug baron, God is on your side.

Jeanine is the woman for the times in St. Lucia's political landscape! It cannot be ok with the UWP men in the morning since the bed that they made provides an unstable and restless nights. I look forward to the day when someone like Jeanine (Emma is also a good Candidate)can represent at the helm in St. Lucia's politics. Jeanine needs the support and applause for her courage and tenacity for good governance. I feel pity, shame and disgust for women who see a need to publicly denigrate this woman of the soil in the interest of party politics. Women let's stand together in this highly patriachal society where men (in general) seem to think that a woman's place is in the home--Jeanine and others are providing us with a voice that we can re-echo the sentiments of fairness and justice for all(men and women).

I look forward to the morning when the corrupt and inept group of uwp men, who are afraid of competent men and women to finally bow down and accept defeat at the polls. The morning will soon break when the citizenry (in one voice) will come to the realization that the policies (the Hewanorra expansion etc) project set forth by the current administration is designed to benefit their already full pockets.

The morning will break soon; when the sweet songs of humming birds will help usher in a better St. Lucian where men, women and children can once again feel safe in their homes and on the streets. It will be a time when St. Lucians will no longer feel hushed by the likes of Politicians with associations with criminals. I look forward to the time when St.Lucians can call ALL Spades by the right label-SPADES, and not choose who they imposed such labels on because of debilitating fears brought on by menacing elements among us, and who are supported by those in power.

I look forward to a better St. Lucia when our leaders will place the interest of all St. Lucians as top priorities. Elections seem to be sooner than we think. I implore all St.Lucians to embrace their right to have their voice counted--GO OUT AND VOTE FOR RIGHT, JUSTICE AND TRUE GOVERNANCE!

Ms. Compton
As a woman in politics myself, I wish you the very best.Involvement in politics for women can become challenging, but have faith. Do what is good for the people.
