Why is there no balanced analysis of Dr. Mondesir’s level of acceptance in the constituency.

All of a sudden after one rally with paid SLP supporters the Voice forgets that up to before the rally Dr. Mondesir was “the one to beat”.

The article centers around the fact that he SANG A SONG ! Does this now substitute for rum and chicken legs ?

To answer your questions, we know who Dr Long is. He is an ethical person, has no hidden agendas, as yet, he has not STOLEN from any government entities, nor has he sell his patients' private medical records for a profit.

Mondeisir, on the other hand:

1. STOLE FROM HIS OWN GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF ST LUCIA. He bought goods for his private house on false pretense, meanwhile documented said goods as if they were meant for his his business; thereby STEALING the country of well deserved revenues; that would have been used for social programs. MONDEISIR WAS FINED IN A COURT OF LAW FOR STEALING FROM THE PEOPLE OF ST LUCIA.

2. MONDEISIR SOLD HIS PATIENTS PRIVATE MEDICAL RECORDS FOR A PROFIT. Not only is this un-ethical; but criminal.

He achieved 7% GDP growth and it was frittered away because he did not engage in transformation.

Pep can promise all he may, but unless the SLP has a programme that will directed at making the lives of the people better, GDP growth alone will not achieve that. They don't teach micro- and macro-economics in law school.

They have the country in a mess, with scandals after scandals. Is that what you want for St Lucia? They use to say St Lucians do not like or want Kenny and he should step down, now they see the amount of people in red that was in Anse La Raye, they change the tune by saying these people were paid and were bus into Anse La Raye. Knowing how St Lucians are afraid for their jobs and discrimination, do you believe they would risk their livelihood just to put a red tee Shirt to go to Anse La Raye? Hey man, sitting on a single UWI first-year course, entitled, 'Introduction to Economics', does not equip you to automatically become an economist.

This can be seen in the false hope hyped by followers who see the provision of mere school places, like MP 'Fairty' the minister of education under Compton, but this time at the secondary school level, does not automatically make all those attending secondary schools employable. It figures! The SLP and its leadership cannot see the forest for the trees!

STEP and programmes like it have also been exposed for their futility. The young do not secure a sustainable income or a sustainable livelihood from such short-term measures.

In the first place, the framers of such programmes, having not engaged in deep thinking to creatively insert the necessary linkages within the economy for such stop gap programmes, have created mere plasters for some deep economic wounds.

When the plasters come away, as inevitably they will, the deep wounds of unemployment, and underemployment are exposed and are seen to be still raw and festering. The hoodwinked and frustrated soon turn to a surer and more reliable source of income, namely, drug trafficking and gang related activities.

Dr. Pep offered a song. If the people of ALR-Can are fooled again, then he will get the seat for a song, literally speaking.

Are you ashamed? Name (1) economist in the King administration or tell us how many did introduction to economics?

Let us speak the truth, do not try to compare your Fairty to the SLP, because there is a very big difference, SLP did not just provided School places, they provided School places FOR ALL, both secondary and primary. No-longer is education for the rich and rationed for the poor. Secondary education is very important because it is the foundation to ones furthering their education. So do not try to down play the schools, just because it was SLP who had the fore sight to accomplish it.

STEP was so bad in your view, the UWP who criticize it so much, had nothing new to offer, they copies the program and just changed it name to HOPE.

Do not try to fool people, because there are people who know the truth, PEP did not only sing in ALR, he also spoke. It is there for all to see on htsstlucia.com. That shows how talented the man is, he can sing, he can write, he can speak, he is educated, he is a medical doctor. Because a man has been successful in many areas of life, that makes him likely, but net necessarily prepared to raise the standard of living of one single person in his proposed constituency if neither his party nor himself has a well-crafted economic programme to get this done. Triple law degrees did not prevent Kenny, lecturer and hopeless negotiator and financial wizard, had three swindlers bilk him out of $45 million. He came out empty-handed and said that there was a face-saving 600 jobs created. Yes 600 jobs at a cost of (45, 000, 000 /600) $75,000 a pop.

That's the most expensive job creation project I have ever heard of undertaken by a government. Each job cost $75,000 to create. Not even a university education over three years cost this much.

But you see, like Kenny, Pep is not qualified in Economics. He like Kenny does not even have a first degree in the subject. Up to now, the SLP has not come up with a plan of action that will deal with the vast youthful population with nothing to do but sell drugs to make a living.

When the SLP does I will consider SLP a credible party that is moe than just a mere replacement for the UWP. Until then, the most believable group of untainted politicians on the island today (no scandal, to borbol, no Roachasmell, no missing suitcase, no drug baron, no jailbird, no immoral doctor, no liars under oath, no schemers giving illegal perks to fellow cabinet schemers, no traitors selling our patrimony, and no semi-literate truck driver for a minister) is LPM.

6) published a minimum number of papers
7) presented and defended his research findings

King only job was as a clerk and now he is PM as semi literate as he is, that is a shame for us in St Lucia. He has his priorities inverted as that guy said. Third, he cannot manage or frame a high-level financial contract even when he has THREE LAW DEGREES. Finally, he has no sense of value. They don't teach ALL of those skills in law school.
