The saddest thing for St. Lucia in all of this, is that the St. Lucia Labour Party is absolutely no different. We need a completely different set of decent honest individuals to manage our Country. Not the same old tired wreckless, corrupt politicians.

I hate when these bias UWP supporters, who can see how that UWP government has taken St lucia on a stagnant and backward step. They still have the guts to say that SLP and UWP are the same, but blind, deaf and dumb people know that is so far from the truth. The difference is, the SLP made some mistakes as ALL GOVERNMENTS will make, but they WORKED. That is the big difference. If you want to prove what i said, go around St Lucia from Gros Islet to VF including all the secondaries roads, with an unbiased St Lucia and he or she will show you all the development that accrued under the SLP.

On the other hand we have a UWP government, which have nearly ended a full term in office. They promised us the world, they blamed Kenny for everything, they had the whole media backing them, they offered us a lot of semi literate candidates. I want that same person to take that same tour around St Lucia today, then come back and show us the work of the UWP. I am sure they will come back with a few substandard projects here and there by the Taiwanese. My question is, what has the government being doing with our taxes and all the money they have been borrowing? They have doubled our debt, with nothing to show for it, they have even borrowed from the dreaded IMF TWICE. For the 4 years UWP is in office all we hear is scandals after scandals from day up to this present day. So you bias people try to make us believe that there is no difference between the two parties.

45 million dollars lost ---is a little mistake?

DCA is a little mistake?

Cost over run--is a little mistake?

Passing laws to silent the media--is a little mistake?

Breaking the laws of your own party to become leader for life--is a small mistake?

rumours of impregnating your own minister---is a little mistake?

Selling St Lucian lands to sandals and or foreign interest----is a little mistake..

Take every tom dick and harry to court---as if st lucia had become a police state....is a little mistake?

go try that foolishness an other place ...

That is the same thing the writer is speaker about, "bias UWPees". Where in the above article did the writer spoke about "little mistake" The writer never apologizing for the SLP, he or she said "THE SLP MADE SOME MISTAKES" but they worked. Can you dispute that fact? I hear the same things again and again, Rochamel, cost over runs, DCA, we all know about that. SLP lost the election because of these mistakes. We elected a new government who promised to do BETTER. Can you say we are getting any better or worse? The present government have not only repeated the same mistakes of the previous government, but they have DOUBLED it. From day one this government has had scandals upon scandals up to today. Can you tell me one (1) thing that is better in St Lucia now than when SLP was in office? I am waiting for your answer, then you can call people hypocrite.

A whole lot of nastiness and corruption of the SLP never really came out you know. We the Public only got a few pieces, but the Civil Servants will tell you, these fellars did some good bit of nastiness and downright crookedness.

Are you one who was just discharged from the wellness centre? I believe the place is to modern for you, your golden hope (the pig pen) is the better place for you.
If you can still speak about the SLP nastiness and corruption, when SLP lost the election and is out of office. Any honest person will profess to the fact that this present UWP government, has done more corruption and nastiness in 4 years, than UWP did in 9 years. Then you have to be from GOLDEN HOPE.

Obama is reportedly doing a mess if you listen to the Tea Party Movement. Forget all the mess they made that Obama had to clean-up. No earthly Government is perfect, can we count the instances of malfeasance in Sir John's 30 year government, we should not even try. But I believe he did what he did not for his own profit but in the hope that he was watching out for St. Lucia. He neglected human resource development but I suppose because he did other things the SLP when it came into power could have concentrated on human resource development which it did and the like. You and I may not be happy with everything they did but they did not do it for themselves. The same can't be said of this 50/50 government, they want a cut in everything they do and that is the root of the corruption which now has a strangle hold on this country. I must agree they are not fit to lead. And for those who looking for a celestial government, take a gun and put to your head, pray you get to heaven
