SAD.
The police should buss his Ass inside there.
The murderer of this young life, seems to have a serious issue with anger and insecurity.
I sincerely hope he gets his "just desserts" for his atrocious action, but at the same time, gets counseling for his "insanity" - yes, this is an insane disease the young man is suffering from. Sad but true.
A very sad case - word to ALL women - as soon as your boyfriend shows ANY sign of anger and/or insecurity of continuing a relationship with you ... RUN!!! And run FAR!!! No matter how good looking he is, how boss a dresser he is ... RUN!!!
I know this is easier said than done ... but friends, help your girl friends in this kind of situation. Help them to run.
People kill people not guns kill people. As soon as the police go after the gun carrying criminals St. Lucians turn to using knives.
We like to call ourselves a God fearing people but our liberal progressive lifestyle is only showing we are a lot more vulgar in our lives than we think.
All those including the liberal person who censors conservative viewpoints on this blog are showing their true sinful nature.
Which of the Voice editors on this blog is censoring conservative viewpoints ?
No wonder we have lost our value system in St. Lucia and we continue to spiral downwards.
Definitely a sad situation. But let's not rush to judgement as information is still sketchy based on all the news reports. In as much as there is a lot of anger there is also a lot of hidden depression experienced by our people. It could also be a case of suicide. Outside relationships, pregnancy, and not to mention it is absurd that someone can be quarelling in a neighbourhood and nobody come out to see what is going on. I hope the take the time to fully investigate this case and bring justice and closure to the family.
This article is full of spectulation to the point of tarnishing the young woman's image.
such statements that she was alleged in being in other relationships...is so inappropriate and un called for. It really shows our level of respect for women in our society...even in her death - her sexuality is expoded. this is how st.lucian men view their women..this is the real problem in this country...they are sexual being and ownership is given to the male. sick and backward mentality.
My heart goes out to the parents of both the victim and the accuser. Lets us not be judge jury and executioner here because no matter how much we felt the girl should have left, we may NEVER be aware of the facts of the case. God alone knows what happened and lets us pray for the souls of the departed, the families and the young man who is currently going through his own trauma.

It is because I have read the newspaper "ARTICLES" and listened to the news broadcasts I have made such a statement. Besides take the time to read fully and understand my comments before taking me to task. All I said is that there is a lot of speculation in all the reports so there can be more than one outcome. If your attitude is the one of police in st lucia if this young man actually did kill the girl he will walk free cause we only see things one way in st lucia and as lucians. Apparently the young man who hanged himself was not in st lucia, the individuals who drank gramoxone and killed themselves did not drink it. The guy who cut his troat did not cut his own throat. So why don't you make use of the intelligence you think you have. It is a sad situation and all i'm calling for is facts and not judgement and speculation based on how we feel
My heart goes out to the family of this young lady and also to the family of the young man. Lets hope that the police conducts the investigation with due diligence and build a strong case so that the young lady will get justice. Although under the circumstances suicide is far fetched, a lot of persons out there a harboring their feelings and pain which can lead them to making some bad decisions. Please take some time out to talk to someone as talking helps in preventing events like these from occuring
Sorry to say but whoever wrote this article did a poor job. Do we know that she was involved in outside relationships? That had no place in this story. Do we know if the young man had outside relationships...hint. Please do some real investigating before trying to tarnish this young woman's image
Investigation? The Voice has long forgotten the art of writing. Unaware that readers are now more sophisticated than before. The writings stories are mere rumors
To the person who is talking about suicide one can drink gramxone one can cut thier throat and hung themself but how can she stab herself in her back.Let all to the family a favor dont speculate and pray for them
