why do we in the Caribbean continue to elevate these self seeking buffons

Hilary Beckles is a Dinosaur and frankly lacks relevance

His remarks are out there and no amount of spin can detract from the poisonous and divisive nature of his comments

the man is a history professor for gods sake ..where is the relevance in anything he has to say or offer ?
I am happy for him to promote Bajan heroes, but must the rest of us continue to have it rammed down our throats?

After all non of his heroes are in the category of a sparrow or a bob marley and carry little weight outside of the english speaking colonial world of cricket

If he had any class or integrity he would do the decent thing and stand down

We should turn our cricket fields into baseball fields. At least some St. Lucian would hope to become a millionaire playing baseball.

Congrats Sammy! But cricket is a relic of colonialism.
