Please Oswald Augustin stop your nonsense. In your recent statement trying to challenge the Department of statistics unemployment figures you clearly demonstrated that you do not have the slightest idea of how data is compiled and interpreted.
And why you and Mr.King believe you are being clever in quoting "rebased" figures and comparing them to figures to which the same methodology has not been applied, those of us who had a little schooling can see right through your brazen attempt at deceit.
What's more, the mathematical wizardry by which you leap from what has to be a growth of less than 1.7% in 2010 (especially after the ravages of Tomas) to 4.4% is not reflected in either the economic activity and main indicators for the period or more specifically in the job market!

Since when did Oswald Augustin became a statistician! On what authority or ground (academics) did he presented his voodoo statistics or even lack of it therof?
In early 1980's, when I was still in high school, I knew this man to be an accountant or a messenger of some variety for Chastanet.
If Oswald Augustin is so bright, quoting figures, graphs, etc. then his business would have prospered and his name and his failed business would have been a fixture on the island, surely. Is that the case, Oswald Augustin, is your name KNOWN to St Lucians as an astute business man?
I suggest when you see, hear and read of people writing articles on subject matters they are versed, schooled and educated on, if you, on the other hand, do not have the facts to present you arguments, then STAY IN YOUR SECTION and don't make people aware of your ignorance.
