What is even more troubling is how dangerous the usage of alcohol as a recreational drug is known to be, yet the hypocritical politicians have made alcohol ubiquitous and legal. Even in their “holy” places that drug is found and is known to be used to intoxicate Nuns before being raped by the priest. Here are some facts from the National Center for Alcohol Law Enforcement :
Almost one in four victims of violent crime report that the perpetrator had been drinking prior to committing the violence.
Over one-third of victims of rapes or sexual assaults report that the offender was drinking at the time of the act.
It is estimated that 32 to 50 percent of homicides are preceded by alcohol consumption by the perpetrator.
Between 31 percent and 36 percent of prisoners convicted of a violent crime against an intimate reported that they were drinking alcohol at the time of the offense.
So why is Marijuana criminalized when no person is known to have died from a Marijuana overdose, while thousands of people die from the consumption of alcohol. Barclay's Banks launder BILLIONS of dollars of “dirty” drug money yet no one goes to JAIL after being caught red handed with the drug money??

Mary Chandy’s book has many more such harrowing tales. Like the nun who had tried to commit suicide many times over telling her of priests coming to the convent well past midnight and taking nuns out to the nearby schools. When this nun was called, she would not open the door. She was terrified the priests would break down the door and come for her. She said she hated this life of fear and wanted to end it.
In one chapter, Mary Chandy recounts how porn magazines and CDs are commonplace among the priests. In one instance, she says a young nun came to her crying as another senior nun was forcing her to watch these videos with her.
Elsewhere, Mary describes feast days in the seminaries when wine flows freely and there is dancing and much else. Once a father asked her to join in the revelries saying life is meant to be enjoyed. When she refused, he threatened her with dire consequences.

Earl and son of man, I commend your words, totally sensible and good in delivery. Its a pity that others just repeat comments that are full of ignorance and bigotry. I would also like this Marijuana to be legalised but some control is necessary particularly around age.
It appears likely that the US will soon have most states legalised and I hope the world will follow suit. I too find the drug alcohol causes most of the ills in society, I am sure 99% of illegal acts are fuelled by alcohol, never heard of anyone being mugged by someone who has smoked a joint, unless he/she has also consumed alcohol; the combination of the two can cause huge problems because alcohol lowers inhibitions and supports the nonsense we see on a daily basis. Marijuana without other substances is more likely to stop violence, imagine a world with no wars!
Clearly and surely Bousquet does not show any acquaintance with the scientific method and the way those in the medical fraternity reach conclusions. Perhaps, he never undertook any kind of extensive study for any type of degree. Otherwise, he would not be freighting that load of nonsense as being definitive.
Today, we know that consensus is reached in the medical profession or fraternity on the basis of the iterative polling of experts. Plural on the word experts, and not just on the opinion of one so-called authority.
Experts in the medical field arrive at their conclusions on the basis of rounds of discussions based on the Delphi Technique or web-based CPFR, and not on the bias of a single person's opinion. When you persistently do this, you expose your depth of ignorance of how knowledge is created, and your lack of a proper education, your glaring mis-education, or your under-education. Your lack of sophistication even!
To write extensively, drawing on such a thin information foundation is to do a grave disservice to those who do not know or appreciate the relevant issues any better than you do.

There is no plant on Earth more condemned than marijuana. We’re talking about a living organism which governments have taken upon themselves to designate as an illegal substance. Despite no existing evidence of anyone ever dying of a marijuana overdose, possession of this plant is still illegal in many parts. Marijuana has been found to suppress cancer, reduce blood pressure, treat glaucoma, alleviate pain and even inhibit HIV. It is an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective. The most compelling evidence up to now of widespread and indiscriminate use is that the Dutch used to give out marijuana to its citizens as a recreational and medicinal drug. Today, they have restricted the use of that substance in their country because of the need for the government to provide institutions to house the overwhelming number of zombies created by that government's policy.
