I wish that the NYC would get really serious for once on the jobs/unemployment issue. It is high time to push every government of the day to invest in the appropriate development of our human capital, in order to answer to the dearth in job skills to make their constituent demographics more attractive to FDI investors.
Damn it! Come on! How many show biz acts or musical tracks will make Saint Lucia a more attractive locale for foreign direct investment? An inordinate focus on culture betrays a one-dimensional band-wagon thinking and perspective.
We cannot sing and dance our way to economic development and economic growth young people. Don't let these older folks feed you with useless and endless diversions. Even the Africans dance when they go to wars and lose them.
