I loathe lawers/liars, they are crooked and must win at all costs. They should never be allowed to run this country because they are the problem and not the solution.

Will the Comptroller of Customs now go after Ramjattan?
Which Ramjattan Frederick talking about? He is in government for nearly 3 yrs, why is now as he and his other friends in government are caught in corruption, he choose to bring up that. Frederick is the biggest B.S ter in town. He promised to work as a politician for free, claiming he do not need money, but at the same time he is robbing the country of custom duties, and he is suing the government which he is part of, for the same he do not need. It is 2 yrs he promised the people some low income houses in Marigot, up to now he have not started them. Instead Frederick try to look in the past of the SLP, he must understand that SLP lost the election because of the very things he is implying. Now we are paying him and his gang to work in the country interest, he must now tell us what he has done what he is doing to benefit the country. Trying to implicate the SLP will not benefit him.
Watched the so-call Press conference and all I could say is Boy oh boy, somethings never change.
Thought to myself wasn’t the whole point of the Concession was for people to add rooms to their houses & for building new houses/villas/apartments, some of which were ACTUAL personal residences!
Wasn’t ALL concessions given, covered ‘cutlery to curtains’? Don’t think that was only granted to the Baron’s Food gentleman!
And so Cricket World Cup has come and gone with NO flood of guests, and you will say he didn’t complete it for World Cup and say he did something wrong?
Take a survey and see how many of those houses were used Mr. Minister! Check the Concession Agreement!!!
Minister Frederick should try to explain why he said he withdrew the application when he realized the concessions had expired when, his letter of application made mention of the fact that he realized that the Cricket World Cup concessions had expired!!
Wasn’t Minister Allen Chastanet on the news about two weeks ago saying that his Ministry investigated following which Minister Frederick paid the duty?
Also, did Minister Frederick address the basis for the SLP bringing this public, i.e. the fact that the Minister applied for concessions not only with full knowledge that it was expired but for Villas, some of which were already SOLD?
If the Opposition said Minister Frederick did something wrong, Minister Frederick should address the issue and stop attacking private citizens which he thinks are alligned to the Opposition.
If he thinks the Private citizens did something wrong, he is a lawyer, use the office of the DPP and Attorney General and prosecute!
This low-down, dog-fight , cut-throat, angry diatribe is distateful and nauseating and says nothing complementary about him as Minister!!!!!
I say charge everybody who use concessions in their private home. And fire the Customs for not investigating. Too many party hacks in government jobs.
The party hacks will not go away. But they must be kept honest. Party hack Titus Preville is major P.S. then Mark Louis did endless things where is he, they must be kept honest. Party hacks are not callers to the talk shows they don't have the power, that a Mondesir has to give himself concessions for his private home. they don't have the power Fredrick have to apply for concessions under dead legislation. By the way who he think he fooling. He is the worst thing to happen to St. Lucia politics and he has to go. All the professionals in Central Castries who voted him as a reflection of themselves shame, shame on you. You should have let his type pick him. Did you not see the people who came to support him on the roadside, petty criminals and thieves. One said Let Saint Lucia Rest In Peace. I heard her on DBS. That was scary. they are the enemies of our great State and Fredrick is their Leader
I guess what is good for the goose is not good for the gander...they are all biased and only really look out for their own kind. Everyone else...it is a "fight down!!!"
Can't say I am suprised that this would be the response to this revalation. To all those who say that it is the right of the individuals to turn their homes into whatever it is after the world cup that's fair enough but let's talk about taxes. Could anyone tell me whether or not any of those individuals assessed an income tax because I am sure that the accomodation was not free. Is it not the law to pay taxes on any income earned? We lambase those in authority for their faults but many of us ordinary people engage in our fair share of unethical behaviour. I remember going to a minibus association meeting which I was invited to a few years ago in which at the time minibus and taxi drivers felt that they should not be assessed an income tax. If the route band system was not put in place I am sure many of them would not file taxes. So tell me what is the difference when each of us do our fair share? If unethical behavior is rampant in society and we hide to protect our friends what else do you expect to happen. It starts with society, whatever we let pass will become culture. Look at the culture we have created.
They should all be jailed for tax evasion.

In case some of us do not know, the World Cup Concessions were developed to encouraged home owners and business minded people to either build new accomodations or widen existing accomodations so as to provide much needed rooms for the envisaged big crowd.
But alas the crowd never came.
Many people incurred debt and NO tenants for World Cup.
So what are you asking people to pay tax on?
And so on top of that you think government can ask people to pay the concessions.
Again I say go read the ACT!!!
To Devil's advocate and those whose mind you corrupted with this tax thing.
Firstly, there were virtually no guest(particularly outside the major hotels) and thus no income to assess.
More importantly, The concessions under the World Cup Accommodation Act included a 15 year Tax Free holiday.
And that was for EVERYBODY who was granted concessions including RICHARD FREDERICK.
Frederick is a J.A. This government is acting as though they are in opposition, instead they govern and show the public what work they have done, and what they intend to or is doing, as we a paying them, they all including Frederick would open their big mouth, as we see in the picture to try to bring up the faults of the past government, while the country is taking a downward slide. That is the reason we will kick them out next election.
We do not want to know the faults of the opposition, from the government, we already know them, that is why they are in oppostion today. Frederick must realise that, if he want to behave as an opposition, he will have enough time to do that in 2 more yrs. Imagine Frederick use his whole budget address, attacking the opposition, instead of addresing the problens of the country. He is behaving as an opposition, where he belong.
