Chavez is arresting journalists in Venezuela for speaking freely. Let's not forget how good we have it in a free democratic society.

Mr. George, one of the "fundamental rights and freedoms" enshrined in the Constitution of Saint Lucia is the freedom of expression. No Cabinet of Ministers can legally deny you that right.

I am not at all surprised by the flambeauness of the supporters of the United Workers Party. I believe that they have thrown the moral compass out to sea with the ashes of Sir John and they believe it is sweet sailing. Coming to think of it, UWP has never held itself to a moral highground. The standards in public life have never applied to that party and now the very people who challenged Sir John's infelicities like Rick Wayne because then it suited him to suck it to Sir John, has joined in keeping a corrupt government comfortable. I hope supporters of the Labour Party are taking note.

One well paid supporter of the United Workers Party Angel Brouet said on a talk show she would not say Mondesir was wrong or right. What exactly does that mean. In defending Fredrick who told Saint Lucia that he forgot he had sold his villas. I know Fredrick cannot keep all his vast sources of wealth straight in his head, but to say you did not remember selling such a valuable piece of asset. But then we are tolerant of other sins of Fredrick, that are far worse, why we can't stand a simple lie.

The opposition is being criticized for doing its job but I hope it is a lesson to all that oppositions cannot appear to be in bed with wrong doing, and use the code of the lawyers and cover up for one another. This opposition has demonstrated that politicians covering up for one another will never again be accepted.

Why is Richard Frederick the Minister holding a Press Conference on duty free Concessions offered by the Ministry of Tourism. Why doesn't Richard Frederick hold a Press Conference on Housing - the Housing at Marigot, the Housing at Monchy, the Housing at Choc and the Housing plans to be developed in the coming years if there are any. Richard should concentrate on the Ministry he has been assigned,
