why does this man always make a big deal of being in London? Who cares? Whether it's London or St. Lucia he still writes crap.

why is it that Deny's Springer always seems to be singing for his supper? It's like "silon larchay poule parche"{where ever the wind blows he is there}. This guy is so opportunistic in his writings and was so pro Slp in his writings. Now he see's no wrong in the present incompetence of this government. Deny's mus get it clear in his mind that both the SLP and the UWP have failed the country and stop his ludicrous excuses for what passes for good governance. I am waiting for him to blow with the wind when there is a change of government. That is his nature and there is nothing wrong with that. Deny's Springer the opportunist.

There is actually someone as sick as Springer?

Anonymous said...

Please ask Springer....what did Kenny personally done to him.
They did have something in common, no?

Anonymous said...

The man is an opportunist.....he has never been objective....
What did he write that one hasn't read dozens of times for the past 6 yrs.?

Who want to know where Springer read the report, he want people to know he is in London "big deal". He know so much, he should be is St lucia helping King and his gang to get out of the mess they are creating in the country. He claimed that St Lucia was highjacked in 1997-2006, i personally would be very happy, for St Lucia to have another 9 years of highjack by the SLP, because our country would have been so developed, people would have to call us the little new Yorke of the caribbean, at the rate kenny was developing the country. We were developing in two's, 2 hospitals plus health centers. 2 stadiums. 2 government office blocks. Prison and police stations. fFre stations and forensic lab. 2 highways. Schools primary and secondary. Car pack and fixing of roads. New gabage dump and beautification and cleaning the country through STEP. Fixing sidewalks and island wide gabage collection. Give civil servants three raise including a 10% raise and providing many constructon jobs. Building many hotels and extending the vigie airport. etc, etc. If that is highjack, well highjack me every day. What has the uwp done in 3 yrs?

This report might have beaten you'll arse badly. Look at how pathatic you'll look.

Some of you are running all over the net trying to put out fire for Kenny. Poorjab.

Admit it. This thing took a big chunk of you'll arse. Have you'll been able to seat down on your arse since that report. LOL

What report you talking about? You think any report will help king and company to work for our betterment in the country, that is all i am concerned about. People of St Lucia is tired of hearing about SLP mistakes, they want the government to work and provide employment to them, instead of creating scandals after scandals. The government spend so much of our money on inquire and they are hiding the report. Kenny begged them to release it at the last sitting of the house, you think Kenny afraid of any report. You could use all your obsenities, but you cannot change the price of coffee, this government is wasting our time and money and after the two years they remain in office, they are dead for good amen.

Anonymous said...

Why is this person use obsenity of a civilised discussion? If you are benefiting from the good work of the government, you should be very happy, but you sound angry as the majority of us Lucians. Maybe your government is not working in your interest. Poor Jab King do not even know if he is coming or going, the job is to hard for him.

Anonymous said...

Call a demonstration again if you don't believe the report took a big bite our of you'll arse.

Go ahead test your credibility.

Anonymous said...

You'll in the same boat as the government you'll trying to remove.

The only difference with you'll is that you'll perfected the art of transgress against the country in secret.

Anonymous said...

What is in that report that St Lucians have not heard before? People do not need report, they need work in the country, they need the country moving again. Kenny did it before, and he will do it again in two years time.

I agree with the last post. The more ignorant people we have in the country who do not read, the better it is for the SLP.

We can sweep this mess under a rug and it is going to be alright in the morning. Who cares about reading a report. Who cares whether the financial management of the country was properly managed. As long as we have STEP in place who cares how much money goes in the pocket of those who manage it.

This is sweet St Lucia. The land where people don't read, the land where party loyalty goes before country, the land where every thing that is wrong must have a political rational, the land where some of the best brains in the country can be found in one single party, the land where poverty is ok as long as I have symbol on my house and my party interest in my heart.

Who cares to call on our politicians when they mess up. Why worry about the past. Why don't we move on to another topic.

Well yes, in the land of the living dead!

Who provided a secondary school place for EACH AND EVERY ST LUCIAN, during the uwp era we had a shift system in St Lucia, you must remember that, so before you believe St Lucians have forgotten, get your facts straight. Who want St Lucians to remain ignorant and unread? I am sure it is not the SLP, the records are there to be showned. Now SLP can boast that THEY have provide a secondary school in all corners in St Lucia. That is one of the reasons Kenny wil be re elected PM.

If more ignorant and un read peolpe support the SLP, how comes the alway attract the better and more educated canditates? I believe is because the more educated ones in society loves the uwp because they can manupilate these semi literate ministars how they want, and they are the only ones that benefit, and the poor illiterate ones are left down there to suffer.

Has Kenny Lost His Right to Criticize

Jason Sifflet

The 2006 general election was not a referendum on Flambeau, it was a punishment of Labour for arrogance, negligence and in certain cases, sheer stupidity. On election day in December 2006, it was time to pay the piper. And boy, did Kenny pay . . .

Kenny Anthony paid for Rochamel the very day his butt got kicked out of office. Felix Finisterre was punished for excesses and making bad circumstances worse with bad decisions by losing his ministry and his seat in Parliament. Ignatius Jean was punished just for being around while certain things happened. Cyprian Lansiquot paid for, well, being Cyprian Lansiquot—especially when voters gave him so much opportunity to change into something better.

Labour on the whole was given a good beating and then sent to kneel down in a corner with their hands in the air where they were told they would remain until they realized the error of their ways.

What more do you want, Shylock? Blood? Tears? You want Kenny Anthony to sit in sackcloth and ashes for three days and nights while members of the public flog him at random intervals?

We’re already flogging him. I put Kenny Anthony over my knee and spank him every time I see him, so he never forgets the lesson of 2006 ever again. Every time. Ask him.

But the sad fact is that while a bad political performance is a sin, it is not a crime. I hope that one day abuses of office and negligence of duty will be punishable. But until that day comes, believe me, neither political party will increase the standards of political performance significantly. King cannot risk implementing the Ramsahoye report lest he lose the next election and find that Labour’s witch hunters are chasing him through the night calling for him to be burnt alive at the stake for things he did and did not do.

Yeah, that’s it. Thank you very much.

That’s the whole damned article. You can move on with the rest of your life now. But just in case I still have your attention:

Tell the truth—you don’t really understand what happened in the Rochamel Affair, do you? You don’t have to answer me. Just tell yourself the truth. You just don’t get it. No matter how many times they explain it, and in spite of the fact that you are disappointed in and angry with Kenny Anthony for the whole damned mess, admit it, you still don’t clearly understand.

The truth is that most people don’t understand what really happened in the Rochamel Affair. No one on either side of the political divide or in the press has clearly and simply stated what Rochamel is.
I’m not even going to attempt it.

As far as I can understand it, the Rochamel Affair is a series of debts our government guaranteed, funds which were funneled through a company called Frenwell to pay the debts of the company known as Rochamel which built and owned the hotel known as Hyatt Regency. See? The simplest explanation is complex and boring.

But the point that everyone is harping on is whether or not Kenny Anthony will have to pay the piper for the hundred mil lost in Rochamel, the mismanagement of NCA and the hundred more in cost overruns on the Soufriere/Vieux Fort highway.

Here’s the lowdown: If Kenny and company had implemented the recommendations of their own witch hunt, the Blom-Cooper Commission of Inquiry (known in the vernacular as the UN Funds Scandal) King could set the hounds on him and let them tear him to pieces. Dragging Kenny Anthony down to defeat in criminal court is just what the doctor ordered for Flambeau. The United Workers Party needs all the political capital it can get right now. They would like nothing better than to turn the tables on him and make him the President Chen of St Lucia, rather than the prototype Obama he imagines himself to be, just when Labour is lambasting them for accepting money from a former Taiwanese

president convicted for corruption and sentenced to life in prison. It would be a political coup par excellence.

But they can’t. If they could have they would have done it already. The Ramsahoye Commission specifically said it found no evidence of criminal wrongdoing.

So instead, they are talking about a civil suit—the first indication that there is not enough basis in the Ramsahoye report for a criminal charge. In such a suit, depending on the judge, the circumstances and arguments presented, it could be possible to find Kenny Anthony culpable for something. But then no one goes to jail in a civil suit. It’s possible that even if Kenny Anthony loses a civil suit brought by the government, he might have to pay nothing but his legal fees after the court slaps him on the wrist. Where is the crime in that?

This is not to say that Kenny Anthony did nothing wrong. He did. And what he did involved deception, omission, acting outside of the rules and conventions that he assaults the hapless Prime Minister Stephenson King with so often and most important blowing away a hundred million bucks with nothing to show for it. Kenny was a bad, bad dog and he needed to be put on a leash until he remembered who the master was. But a criminal? I wish I could find a metaphor or analogy that has jabals and soupsyon in it. Then everyone would clearly understand.

Perhaps I could use the example of another great Kenny, God rest his soul, who was often accused of criminality but could never, till the day of his death, be found languishing in jail.

Deceitful Leaders

Why disrespect those we see as different and why call them out of name
For the unrest in the World today no one side is to blame
It was a wise one who first said two wrongs never make a right
Most people with real power in the World are lacking on insight
The problems in the World today are not caused by the wise
But by those who use fear to cling to power those with the gift of lies
From deceitful government and opposition politicians the truth we never hear
They tell us who we ought to trust and they tell us who to fear
They use their fear card to cling to power with success one can say
A sad reflection on human kind when deception is seen to pay
To their advantage they bend the truth our phobias they feed
They are not wise for wise people by good example lead
They do not know how to unite they know how to divide
And we believe them when they say they have God on their side.
