I read your letter or opinion every week and to say the truth J osie they are getting very nauseating .first let me say that i grew up in the 70's and early 80's under the josie and odlom ere you guys shape my mind so it is very hard for me to undrestand you . every week in order for you to make a case you have to talk about that last administration the slp lost almost 3 yrs ago get that thru your head . i was allway told that in order to make someone look good you should not make another person look bad but that is what you do every week .This gov is not woking but every time they mess up you have to say look what kenny and co did they did just as bad as if that justify what is happen in gov . you should use your experience to help this gov along and stop living in the past it makes you look like a jilted lover . i know you will say the he who dont remember the past is doom to repeat it but you have been going on for such a long time about the past that am now starting to forget myself so am begging you to write more about how this gov can turn thing around in the country and stop leaving in the past
With his writings Mr. Peter Josie is attempting to do that which so many refuse to do in our beautiful St. Lucia.
In his own terminology he talks about "connecting the dots".
Thank you Mr. Josie for at least thinking - which is what those bitten by the SLP religion seem incapable of doing.
Once you critize the SLP for some it means that you are exonerating the UWP as if the madness and incompteence of the SLP between 1997 -2006 is something that never happened and must never be brought up in polite conversation.
Mr. Josie is in a far more sensible place than the SLP hacks that critize him endlessly.

The first comment made a lot of sence, Josie should use all his talent to help the government, who is messing up the country very badly. Criticising the past administration will do nothing to help the country or the government. This government is dying a slow death and Josie is heping them in that cause, they cannot even complete the projects left nearly completed by the SLP, eg. the Two hospitals, the forensic lab. All they do is to complain about the work of the SLP, eg. They said St Lucia was not ready for universial secondary education, they said the mental hospital was too big, now Chastnet is saying we do not need the forensic lab, what a joke. What are the plans of this government for St Lucia, apart from them RECIEVING A SALARY EVERY MONTH.
Josie want to made us believe that the salvation committee are the ones who distroy the banana induutry in St Lucia. Did they also distroy it in St Vincent, Domonica and Grenada? Come on Josie you cannot fool St Lucians, Kenny provided a secondary school place for each and everyone of us. Josie never told us uwp left a debt of $50 million in S.L.B.G.A. for Kenny to clear.

Your article is well written and makes a good point, Mr. Josie.
To those commentators who criticize Mr. Josie for bringing up the past, it is necessary to remind people of the past because the SLP is trying to re-instate the past in the future. Until the SLP cleans up their party and starts afresh, a threat hangs over St. Lucia.
Josie...keep on singing....UWP gave you a job so every time you crawl from under your rock to kiss King's behind as a thank you ....you make yourself look like a jilted lover!!!
Wake up....SLP made some mistakes in nine years....UWP has done worse in 2 years with nothing else to show for it.

St. Lucians accepts such mediocrity ...no wonder we voted a 80++ Grand father into goverment and expected him to supposedly fix things!! ...depriving his family of a husband...father...grandfather.... Would you send your grand parents to work to feed your children???

Yes the SLP left the country with $100 million dedt (although you has not proven that) ok let's say or assume that is true. The bannana industry use to pour millions into St Lucia weekly, from the poor farmers sweat and toil, what reason that we should have a $50 million debt, when money was only coming in? If we look around St Lucia, every blind man or woman will see what Kenny did with the $100 million, we all know some money was not use properly because some projects failed eg Rochamel, but we all know that we a genuine investment gone bad. There is a big difference betwwen Kenny and King, because King is borrowing even more than Kenny and NOBODY is SEEING what he is doing with the money eg. about a month or two ago he borrowed $250 million, he borrowed from the IMF, i cannot remember the sum, he has borrowed each time the house is in session. Yet he cannot complete none of the projects started by the SLP eg our mental hospital, our forensic lab etc, etc, muchless start his own project.

We had a man who was not a St Lucian who ruled us for 30 long years, we say nothing wrong with that, but now our son of the soil, who did so much for us in 9 years, you see a threat hanging over St Lucia. What have my fellow St Lucian have become, i only have to shake my head.
What more facts do you require?
1-Kenny Anthony is incompetent as a finance guy. He may have a working knowledge of the law but not $$$.
2-Add up all the money that was lost on Roachamel deal, NCA , and the road projects etc
3- Are you wearing glases? You write like one.
4- Do you need a clean lens to help your red eye situation?
Name me a PM that was better with $$$$$ than Kenny and i will answer you.

Kenny Anthony wasted, squandered, mismanaged, threw away,misplaced, mispent $500,000,000 over a nine year period.
Duh!
So that means that Vaughn Lewis, Stephenson King, Cenac, Allan Louisey, John Compton and Mikey Pilgrim were better Prime Ministers and Ministers of Finance than Dr. Kenny D (unce) Anthony.
How much of our money Compton wasted? I am not even asking you about this present government, because it is fresh in all of us minds.
Some body has the strengh and energy and heart to write King is a better PM than Kenny.
What more facts do you require?
