Just a correction, it's not money that's the root of all evil. It's the love of money and that's different.

This is a really badly written story. Don't they have editors at the Voice for quality control. When you hire rookies you need to train them. Its obvious this person is a rookie news writer. This story cannot decide whether its a feature piece or a hard news story. For instance if its hard news we should stick to the actual reported offences and when the last such similar incidents were reported and how the EC dollar has been counterfeit proofed...how ordinary people may be able to tell the difference between counterfeit and real notes.

On the feature side you might want to concentrate on the history of counterfeiting currency in St. Lucia and the region and how counterfeiting can affect the real economy in terms of inflation, currency devaluation and the like.

Please vet these stories. Terrible writing.

This article was painful to read ... very badly written. Whoever wrote it, deserves to be trained in writing "news articles". The conclusion left me hanging ...

I am in total agreement with Anonymous #2.
