St. Lucian has been politically fatherless for centuries. Even now this poor country is worshiping foreigners good, bad and indifferent as its leaders. Little wonder, the beau-peres have led it so far astray.

We need born and bred St. Lucians with their navel strings buried here, as one of the main requirements for political representation in this country. There are no two ways about it.

The legacy of Vencies is terrible. One wanted to rename the entire country after him. The current one does not know sweet ... about running a country.

Welcome Fred!

Down with the relics of colonialism and its laws which have provided us a nauseating bank of incompetent foreigners calling themselves leaders, and who even to this day continue to drive us into a hell hole!

LPM is way beyond and above both the SLP and the UWP regarding aln uplifting programme of development for St. Lucia. I wish more people could read and discover the difference in outlook. These people are on the ball with both the economic and social policies. God help St. Lucia. I wish you well LPM!

I have nothing against the LPM, but how many of them will save their deposit. Only these bias, disgruntled so called UWPeeeeeees will vote for then, thus making the SLP stronger.

I would think again before making this self serving statement. The LPM looks as if they are pulling from both sides. At the moment it looks as if the SLP is getting short change. Look at some the candidates they have presented lately. Most of them are from the SLP and not the UWP. Other than their party leader Prudent who is a former UWP LPM has eaten more from SLP support to date. Surprisingly it looks as though there is something about LPM that attracts SLP supporters. I am one of those without a doubt.

Losing one's deposit is not a sin, nor a crime. It is not a curse like having all these scumbags and crooks in the Kings cabinet. There is much more at stake than the deposit. The future of the country is what is riding on the coming elections.

Another piece of rum shop politics! Even the literate cannot seem to rise above the downright stupidity that the foreigner politicians left us. Clearly, they knew nothing about parliamentary democracy and gave us nothing but the politics of ignorance.

I believe very strongly, that from the carefully stated policies and programmes on their lpmnow.org website, that they are different. It is a come from behind type of game that they have chosen to play. They are coming from nothing to something and with a clean slate. No borbol and no scandal.

As someone said the other day, people are afraid of being in Kenny's kennel -- for opposing him, in Federick's Grave Yard -- that is his political legacy, DEATH and DRUGS, and of foreigner King's killing fields -- another half ... foreigner giving us half ... government with one murder per week.

We can do better with genuine Looshans wherever they will come from. Bravo LPM!

I am very impressed with the LPM. This last weekend in Blanchard they finally proved that they have some serious balls.

Hats off.

The Labour Party has just given a vote of confidence to their leader of 261 votes to 1. He led them and lost the December 11th 2006 election and should have resigned. St.Lucians need alternatives like the LPM. We do not really want to vote for people like Fredricks, Mondesir, Bosequet and all those elected members who seems to have had more brush with the law than the average citizen.
Thanks Allah for having a choice. A Looshian is a Looshian no matter where he earns his living, or how long he has lived outside of the country. Get real. Let there be more like minded people. LPM for a change.

I am happy to hear that SLPs are moving towards the LPM. It makes sense that the LPM would not be even looking at any from the pack of scoundrels that make up the UWP cabinet today. Imagine the UWP political dummies edged out a true Looshan for two Vencies. Those dummies thought that tis foreigner Compton was immortal?

LPM has no one with a doctorate running at the moment, I am told. Therefore, we have no "doctor politics". SLP's beloved doctor managed money so well he gave $45 million away and got nothing in return for it.

LPM is showing on its website ways in which it will monitor and control money coming from the public purse. SLP has not even recognized that it cannot manage the people's money. We doh want no NCA kommess and no Roachasmell. Roachasmell bad, bad, bad.

LPM is here.

All of you LPM supporters what you all do not realise is that the LPM is an arm of the UWP. The housing minister and the leader of the LPM could not be in a better bed. They are working on their strategy very well and have you all fooled. The deal has been reached that if UWP does not have enough seats at the next general elections to form the government they will form an alliance with the UWP and BOOM; here you have it Flambeau back in office. That is the grande plan coming from flambeau camps. So If they cant get in by winning more palimentary seats they will come together !!!!The people will be FOOLED AGAIN for another five years!!!

I meant that they will form an alliance or coilition govt with the LPM.

LPM form an alliance with the UWP inmates, crooks, drug barons, damn theives?

Have you noticed that the SLP is not criticizing the LPM? The SLPs are the ones who are hoping for an alliance. The UWP are so afraid to call an election because they have no runs on the board. They have nothing to shout about. Besides a lot of the candidates for the SLP are coming from the SLP. This means that they have more in common with the Slp than the UWP. They will defect back to the SLP before joining the Ali Baba Vencie cabal.

See how King sided with Gonsalves. St. Lucia has been a satellite of St. Vincent for too long. It is time to bring the government of St. Lucia home.

Above the SLP will not have to form an alliance with the LPM because the LPM cannot win any seat in St Lucia in the next election. I am not saying they will never win a seat ever, but not in the next election, all they will be doing is to split the UWP votes making it easier for the SLP. Some bias, disatified, fustrated, so called UWPEEES will pretend they love the LPM and will vote for them.

How do you explain exodus of SLP supporters and even candidates to the LPM? Why is Pep, Ubaldus, Emma, harracksing, Stanley and the whole lot unable to gain full acceptance from their own supporters in the party. Why are does people openly identifying with other parties including LPM?

I agree with this last post. I wonder if we can call those former SLPs who have switched to LPM so called and bias? LOL

LPM just have to won choye doo and chen it's sigwa! When all the talk have died down there is nothing sweeter than the results which comes from the ballot boxes.

Did you take the time to read the nonsense you wrote? How do you know who is supporting the SLP candidates? Where has the SLP supporters exodus to? How do you know when people exodus who they support?
