Good truthful, rational, and logical article, Ms. Plummer.

Tell that to those who wants to sell it for a few free meals and a few free drinks!!

Madame, you have my sympathy. Really. Like was said by someone before, St. Lucians do not have a great sense of nationality because our nationhood is phony.

That mirage called nationhood was forced upon us by a foreign-born and naturalized St. Lucian. Little wonder 'love the land that gave you birth' did not have deep meaning for Mr. Compton who was born in St. Vincent.

He was the first to sell the Queen's Chain, this time created out of loanable funds which St. Lucians had to repay. Kenny did better. He leased it.

Like in the LPM statement made before his, there ia an intention to pass legislation to reverse any sales. Someone on Luciantalk.com is asking also for a constitutional amendment to take it straight out of the hands of the traitors.

Today, we have a further assault on the patrimony. This time again under the premiership of foreign-born prime minister. This tells us that a foreign-born political representative cannot love our country better than a St. Lucian whose navel strings are buried right here.

You wrote a manifesto for better governance in that article of yours. The set of programmes on the LPMnow.org shares so many of the sentiments expressed by you. What a comprehensive and commendable effort!

This goes on to support what has been said elsewhere. The range of overseas expertise and talent being harnessed by the group of LPM's native candidates will work to the benefit of this country. as they return home to run and implement those plans of action.

Number 1, above is quite right and on track. St. Lucians have the habit of accepting a meal and drinks during the election campaigns just for one single day, and suffer and continue to wallow in their misery for the following five years afterwards. Peace!

The UWP cannot be trusted.
Show the St.Lucian people the entire document on this matter. This in no state secret that threatens the state, it is the people’s business.

And, further take it to parliament and make it a policy document and amend the constitution in order to remove in the vernacular of St.Lucian - government negotiators the option to offer the sale of my navel string.

It is very perfective to here the (649) attorney general lament the fact that the historical concept of the queens chain has lost its relevance, this is a more fitting description of the UWP regime and the government- Mr. Doddy Francis

Your foremost duty is to protect the interest of the people of St.Lucia, not the special interest and to act as a lobbyist for the investor or favor other colleges in the likes of losers like Allan.

Make amendments to the constitution and recommend new laws.

This consultation free of charge.

UWP will play they change their mind about selling the Queen chain, just to win the election, remember election is close. As they win again, (which i know they will never). They will say they have the mandate as Compton use to say, so they will go back about their merry ways in selling of St Lucia.

St. Lucia is linked to Tivoli Gardens, Jamaica through the drug baron in the present UWP cabinet. We have a garrison constituency and all.

Thank God! The scumbags are killing one another one every week.

Compton is a traitor. He was the first to sell our land to other foreigners like himself. His successor King is trying to do the same darn thing. Two Vincentians traitors selling off our patrimony bit by bit. King go home!

Yes, the drug baron in the UWP government introduced this style of Jamaican politics in St Lucia - where the politicians dined, wined, partied and befriended drug lords for votes. In return, the politicians protects these drug lords.

Lord have mercy on St Lucia, put a hand dear God...ah, drug baron, and by extension, the present administration, what have you scumbags done to once "fair helen?"

The developers and would be purchasers of the queens chain may have been having a good laugh at our expense when in their country, their government would not dare contemplate an idea like this , far less to envisage a sale. Our dumb and stupid attorney general, minister of housing and prime minister would go ahead with such a dispictable act is beyond my comprehension and to add insult to injury, make public statemments on the matter. I am wondering "what was in it for them?" Greed continues to permeate our society and the so called people who present themselves as leaders of our nation continue to disappoint us. Heavenly father lay your healing hands over my country St Lucia least we perish!!!!
