Foreigners selling our patronage to other foreigners. Boy what a curse this UWP cabal!

I am going to sleep. Wake me up when these crooks announce general elections. Dat is if they doh create a state of emergency to hold on to power we.

Why is Micah writing everything with his clear biased personal opinion against the UWP.Why does Micah not question the lack of policies of the SLP in opposition. Why does Micah not question why the Leader oof the opposition who is paid over $120,000 annually not fulfill his functions in that job.

Why does Micah not ask the SLP why after 4 years in opposition and after 9 failed years in office the SLP have not come up with policies to make any changes but are just piggybacking on whatever problems arise for the government.

That is why our countries are backward because of the lack of depth in our intellectual and journalistic class.

The UWP cannot be trusted.
Show the St.Lucian people the entire document on this matter. This in no state secret that threatens the state, it is the people’s business.

And, further take it to parliament and make it a policy document and amend the constitution in order to remove in the vernacular of St.Lucian - government negotiators the option to offer the sale of my navel string.

It is very perfective to here the (649) attorney general lament the fact that the historical concept of the queens chain has lost its relevance, this is a more fitting description of the UWP regime and the government- Mr. Doddy Francis

Your foremost duty is to protect the interest of the people of St.Lucia, not the special interest and to act as a lobbyist for the investor or favor other colleges in the likes of losers like Allan.

Make amendments to the constitution and recommend new laws.

This consultation free of charge.

To one of the poster above. I agree. It is almost as if the SLP have had a clean hands in not giving our lands to foreigners. Kenny and the SLP have screed this country as equally as the UWP. No patriotic St Lucian can afford to give the SLP a pass on this. We need to stop being bias and ascribe to the SLP the same weight on screw up as the UWP. St Lucians need to wake up and deal a serious blow to Kenny's attempts to return as King.

At least some sense still prevails in St Lucia.
Thanks to the legal profession.

Fact:
If it was legally correct to sell the Queen's Chain the decision to sell would not have been rescended. Too many bad decisions, loses in Court which is paid by our taxes and more losses to come to be paid by our taxes and lies are being told. Contrary to what many people say on these postings we are not stupid. We see, we hear and we wait. Their day will come. They need a lesson in ethical behaviour, decision making and standards.

Answer: This my friend seem to be a priority for the LPM. I've been listerning to their tone lately. I suspect that the LPM looks upon the SLP with the same distain that it has for the UWP.

Anonymous #2 & #4 people like you want to maintain the status quo right? I suppose your loyalty to the UWP is blinding you from seeing anything not yellow. Well guess what? elections will be won by the BALLOT and unless you two can go to each polling station and into every booth and to convince every individual voting on that day, you have ABSOLUTELY no say and yes NO INFLUENCE as to whether Kenny returns as KING or KING remains as KING!!!!. This is our constututional right, the RIGHT to VOTE and not the right to satisfy the insatiable greed and hunger of persons like you guys. We will vote for reform and restoration of peace and tranquility in OUR country ST LUCIA. We will vote for OUR CHILDREN and our Children's children so that they can live and have a better life. So I am advising you two to STAY OUT OF OUR WAY!!!!! LET DEMOCRACY PREVAIL!!! DAMN IT!!!

Anonymous said...

No, Kenny need to stay out of our way. Come hell come high water we will make sure that he never becomes King again!

Anonymous said...

Why is the son of a former slave master still trying to rule this country? You think the youth of the country to stand for that! Down with Kenny Anthony!!!

Anonymous said...

I pity you two above poor jab your livelihoods are threatened right? awwwww tough luck. YOU TWO HAVE NO INFLUENCE GET IT!!!!! Elections are won by the ballot and not the BULLET!!!!! Vote for your children and their children; vote for a better St Lucia; restore moral behavior, decency and respect to our country locally, regionally and internationally. I am not one of those low minded st lucians who see colour. I believe in the democratic right of the people and in the RIGHT TO VOTE that Dr Martin Luther King, Nelson Madiba Mandella and Rosa Parks fought so hard for; that today we can enjoy that right. I educated myself from the proceeds of my hard work and THE SWEAT OF MY BROW so that I would not be dependant on drugs or handouts from politicians like you all do to determine my survival!!!. What I will vote for is to ensure that my children and sadly your children have a better quality of life in St Lucia. I do not vote for party or a person. I will vote for a CREDIBLE group of men and women with CHARACTER which embodies honesty, integrity and humility to govern the affairs of St Lucia. I will not get caught up in this emotional ranting and raving about "come hell or high waters"...these statements display the highest level of ignorance and we wonder why our country will go nowhere in a hurry.

Anonymous said...

A change must come but Kenny is not that change. Capish?

Anonymous said...

You have NO INFLUENCE ou paka tan on who or what the change will be; how can YOU determine that Kenny will not be the change? chuuuups.

Anonymous said...

Foreign-born Vencies have sold our patrimony and shoe-in related to that first traitor is seeking to do the same thing. Go to St. Vincent instead. That is your fatherland and the country that gave you birth. Leave our land for genuine St Lucians please! Enough of backwardness! Vencie go home!

Anonymous said...

Let King publish his birth certificate to prove that he was born in St. Lucia.

UWP will play they change their mind about selling the Queen chain, just to win the election, remember election is close. As they win again, (which i know they will never). They will say they have the mandate as Compton use to say, so they will go back about their merry ways in selling of St Lucia.

The Star and RICK WAYNE is the biased newspaper. I live in the US and have experience it myself. They refused to print my blogs which contain no profanity or insults to anyone. I know for a fact because it happened several times and stated your comments is waiting for moderation. I was puzzled but soon realize it always happen when the blog was about something positive from the Labour Party.

Anonymous said...

@anonymous above...that is so true. The Star Newspaper never publishes my blogs, though they are not libel, but logical and analytical. As long as you are critical (with facts) about the present government, rest assured the Star WILL NOT publish your blogs.

I tend to share your sentiment, anonymous, the Star and Rick Wayne are very bias.

I do not buy the Star anymore (though at one point I look forward to every publication), nor do I read it online.

Anonymous said...

If you don't buy the STAR anymore? How comes they still in business? There are 35,000 strong on the other side that refuse to read BS glorifying Kenny.

Anonymous said...

It's time that Kenny prove that his relationship with St Lucia started when the first set of black people arrived here and not when his English slave master parents left England to enslave St Lucian slaves.

Jah be bless! And down with all oppressors.

Anonymous said...

@ above please please leave your ignorance for your bedroom whoy!!!. The UWI has singled out St Lucia as having the highest level of UWI graduates in the ECCU but I am so confused when I see the garbage that some moroons write here its even insulting. Where is "down with Kenny"coming in a logical debate? Lets debate issues, lets vote to pave the way for our children and children's children. You wonder why when a ghetto man is murdered the families SCREAM at the top of their lungs? If those same families saw it fit to pull their resources together to provide a proper education for their young; instead of having them perform as drug mules and then profit from the proceeds, the young boys would have been alive today contributing to society. Then again when you have Guy Joseph as Minister of Communication and Stephenson King as PM I wonder about our intellect.

Anonymous said...

You are in denial. I feel sorry for folks like you. Do yourself a favour and read your history books.

OH, God bless!

Anonymous said...

The fact that you went to UWI does not mean that you aced all the tests. Nowadays, they don't even teach 'Use of English' anymore. This means that you can write poor English or don't understand things like nuance and subtlety and still pass.

OK. You passed. But in terms of communication and thinking clearly, you came as a sheep and left as a goat.

Now the good lady governor of St. Lucia was out there trying to dumb down the population even more. She is part of the charter group trying to make a language out of Jamaican patois, Haitian patios, St. Lucian patios, Dominican patois, Bajan dialect, Curacao's papiamento, and Suriname's Takitaki. Some so-called Caribbean intellectuals are so full of it.

What do you think will happen to St. Lucia if we encourage the likes of dummies like Guy Joseph and clerks like Vencie King to ever hold ministerial positions again in St. Lucia?

Compton did not care. He was the first one and a naturalized St. Lucian too, not a full blooded one, to sell our patrimony.

Now his handpicked PM, the naturalized Vencie has taken after him trying to sell our patrimony again! What is it with these Vincentians that they keep on selling out what is not theres to other persons who are not full-blooded St. Lucians.

Why don't they try doing the sell out in St. Vincent instead. King go home!

Anonymous said...

@#19...you may be amazed to know that every dollar, in business counts. Maybe in St Lucia, the Star may not care about my dollar.

Rest assured, in the real world, my dollar may make the difference between profit and loss or servicing loans payments or defaulting on them.

If you do not not believe me, a quick click on your systems on any multi billion conglomerates will draw that point home to you, how my dollar count and...HOW THEY GO ALL OUT TO KEEP A CUSTOMER!!

My dollar makes a difference, brother. Further, there are close to 170,000 people in St Lucia, there are less than 40,000 newspaper printouts from the Star and the Voice Publishing Company - I quite understanding your reasoning about not caring for my dollar!!! Go figure!!

Anonymous said...

King must publish his birth certificate. King go back home!

Anonymous said...

Stupid, Jackass, Fool! King served for almost 10 years prior too. There is no question that he is a St Lucian born. Where has the birthers from the TEA Party in the USA with their campaign against where Obama was born. You mean of all the issues in the world is a dumb one like that you would emulate from those crazy bastards up there. Try a different strategy because when put together you sound like a retard.

Dr. Mondesir will be live on RSL this afternoon. Come listern to what he has to say about the papishow the SLP plans to put up this afternoon.

Anonymous said...

If it is true that Mondesir choose to make his address this afternoon, when he know many of the people he suppose to target will be at the SLP launching. This only shows how stupid that man is.

Anonymous said...

SLP do not need Mondesir tell people about the event they have in Anse La Raye for them, they can do that themselves. What he has to explain to the people is the infighting between him and his brother, the lack of water in Cannaries and his neglect of the place..

Anonymous said...

A most ethical man, Mondeisir is. Don't you think?

I went through every blog on this piece and boy are we in deep shit in St.Lucia. We are busy tearing each other apart on behalf our so called leaders. Straying far from the issue. When Kenny do his nonsense he was kicked out. Wrong is wrong and right is right no matter who it is. We must stop that crap of looking for excuses for our leaders who f***k up. For my part it is important to know the details of the lease. I do not agree with a 100year lease. For the blogger who say thank god for the legal profession i disagree strongly. We must take example from Cuba's Guantanamo bay and do some research and understand why Cuba cannot get what is rightly theirs. Guantanamo was not sold, but leased. When Batista signed the lease the language in there is what has prevented Cuba from getting control over it's own territory. Those so called Lawyers likewise can put language in there that even if they don't sell legally, the control over the queens chain could end up like Guantanamo. I don't trust the word of those from the so called noble profession one bit. Show me the conditions of the lease. I want to see the conditions in there to protect our patrimony. Are there safeguards in there and are they good enough for us. I am totally against that 99yr lease. This is still treason in my view. Why not twenty year lease with option to renew? We give 10 yr, 20yr tax holiday why 99yrs? Lucians open you all freaking eyes instead of the BS going on this blog. 99yr lease is the mother of all smokescreens

I hope Kenny apologise to the people of Anse La raye for imposing Dr. Stink on them. You mean of all the people from our district Kenny could not find one worthy enough to represent the place?

SLP like to put it's foot inside it's mouth. This is bound to backfire!!!

@ ANONYMOS 30TH JAN @ 7:35AM

First of all, President Obama was elected by the people of the US to be their president. Second, Saint Lucians like myself are very welcoming people, the very reason why Compton was elected Prime Minister for over thirty years and like you said "King served for ten years", prior and their country of birth is not the issue. The point is that King is unqualified, appointed by his godfather Compton and is not capable of leading the masses.

Please "listen to the message and not the messenger"

Anonymous said...

What has PEP done to be called Dr Stink? Who imposed Mondesir on the people on Anse La Raye? Compare the records of the two men and tell me who is more of a Stink. Who say a candidate must come from the District, check the candidates of the UWP and check where they came from. Compton and Mallet are not even from St Lucia much less from a district. Easy Cal is not from Badbonneau, Jeannine is not from Micoud, Chastanet is not from Soufriere etc, etc.

Its disheartening to have read all this junk that my fellow st lucians write and their foolish views and ideas
What is at stake here is the future of FAIR HELEN
Look at this Administration for the last four years and ask yourself and as you think, Think of the population on a whole and ask are we better off
Look at the caribbean and the world and our present leadershipand think of what is going on.

My fellow st lucians whether uwpees or labour let us think of our present or young generation that is coming up
is there a future for them with this present administration.

Let us do what is right for FAIR HeLEN THe population on a whole

John Mangal I guess in some small way we were able to exert an iota of influence on this issue. I'll have you know that some of the party hacks from both parties, if not the party functionaries themselves, read the Voice blog.

We have to continue to educate St. Lucians that we are not partisan loyalists here we are only concerned about good governance irrespective of which party is in power.

The problem with the UWP government's decision to recind or backtrack here is that they were contemplating this bone headed policy in the first place and now to assuage the poeople they have opted for this politically expedient move.

We need to revisit the whole Alien Landholding Act and see to what extent this act is slowly going to make all St. Lucians foreigners in their country.

Lets continue to agree to disagree on some issues as we are not monolithic in our thinking, but when we argree let's be forceful, steadfast and uncompromising in safeguarding the future of our country.

Anonymous said...

UWP does not have a moral compass. Everybody knows that. The people are just chaffing at the bit waiting to get Ali Baba and the rest of crooks with their hands caught in the tourism incentives cookie jar out of office. That is even if they try to improve their pension benefits by a delay in calling elections. You can put nothing past these UWP incompetents, foreigners, crooks, drug barons, and traitors. You see.

St Lucian bloggers this sick nationalism stuff MUST GO! Recently, even the Barbadian voters showed themselves to be more sensible about this issue than we are displaying on these blogs.

Tribalism and nationalism are the cause of ALL wars! We have no army with which to wage war, but wars are fought in many different ways, including psychologically. No wonder we're turning into a nation of killers. This is ridiculous beyond words or imagination!!!
Where did you guys learn all this garbage?
For the sake of our nation's well-being, PLEASE STOP THIS NONSENSE!!

Anonymous said...

Thank God that the UWP had the good sense to listen to the recommendations of the SLP and the people of St. Lucia. Hope another misguided venture is not brewing in the UWP camp.
