...Hm, I wonder how the million US dollars given to him was spent, since he, Guy Joseph, never accounted for a penny of that money.

Rytis Joseph, his brother, took financial responsibilities of Galaxy, bla bla bla. Hm, just an observation!!

This is a mischievous piece of writing by you Micah

Yes, the smile is phony indeed, no doubt there.

I wonder what other things about him are phony, too. You could see the smile and he is not true about it; should I therefore conclude that he is phony as well about what I am not privy to an cannot see?

Why didn't he, and his comrades, accounted for the million dollars given to each of them (only J. Compton did)?

Suddenly, he washed his hands off his business affairs. Before long his brother and sister came into possession of his business obligations (nothing wrong with that), but the whole thing sound fishy and phony, as his smile.

Guy is smiling all the way to he bank. He always have something to smile about. because only in St Lucia a semi literate like Guy could be a minister.

So if your unemployable, illiterate, a former truck driver, and finally found yourself in a government position, even a as minister (ONLY IN ST LUCIA), something unheard of, with an un-accounted million US dollars, shouldn't there be a permanent faked smile on your face?

Way to go brother!! Sick!!

St. Lucian electorate booshay, backward and country bookie. They elect every time they get more ignorant people to parliament than the last time they voted. Democracy and adult suffrage is wasted on these blokes. What a jackass to have as a parliamentarian!

Micah George, Just get all the facts straight. Pursue the truth with vigour, and let us, the general public know the truth. For example:-

What would have drawn the death threats.

Is there evidence at the Registry clearly indicating whether RETIS JOSEPH is the substantive and beneficial shareholder of the 2,990 shares.
Who hold the remaining shares.
What can they tell us about the operations of that company?
Notwithstanding you Micah George indicated that The GOVERNMENT MINISTER does not hold shares. Are you satisfied that he is not a SILENT PARTNER.
How can we be sure that he has absolutely no INFLUENCE on the operations of that business.
WHAT HAS THE STAFF GOT TO SAY. WHAT WERE THEIR OBSERVATIONS?
The damage done to the business premises by Hurricane Tomas. Was the Business not covered by INSURANCE?
Can any member of the Mini-Bus Association who have had dealings with this company shed a little light?
It is about time that Government Officials be accountable in a meaningful way, to us, the general public. We must no longer tolerate anything less than decency, and uprightness by all who hold public office, for it is a distinct previledge, that we the Public allow. Whether they be Civil Servants or Elected or selected through the Senate Officials.
We must demand transparency and accountability. Furthermore where is the Legislation relating to corruption in Public Office. If one exist, does it need strengthening.

I am no supporter of Guy Joseph or the UWP. But honestly, this story has very little substance. If you want to be sensational like Rick at least try a hoax. This story should never have been on the front page of a prestigious newspaper as the VOICE.

Shame!!!!

To add to what I just wrote above: Big Headlines WITHOUT ANY MEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The smirk on that guy's face is one of big sly fox. Nothing more is behind it but his living by his wits. We know that he is loaded with the commonsense crap making the rounds among the semi-literate in the population.

According to that fella in the bar the other day, he is our post turtle. We don't know how he got there and we know that he doesn't belong where he is either.

This story isn't worth the paper it is written on. It's a nothing story...full of Voice...but signifying NOTHING!

St. Lucians went to sleep over 30 years ago. They let a man from one of the outer islands come in and take them to independence. Up to now, the population still does not know what it means to be independent. So they elect dummies like that bus driver to make decisions regarding million and millions of dollars.
