A more patriotic group of people calling themselves St. Lucian would NEVER have placed the patrimony for sale. This regime is a traitor to the aspirations of St. Lucians.

That's how we do it, the Queen's Chain is our land.

The Trust is very diplomatic here. The attempt by those guys to sell the queens chain i still consider an act of treason. It has exposed their mind set. Still the Sandals pillar at pigeon point needs to be challenged in the courts. The decision by the Tribunal needs to be overturned. Had we stopped them there they would be no attempt to sell in this present case.We also need to be informed of the conditions of the lease. Why 99yrs? What protections and safeguards are in this lease for the people.

It is with relief I welcome the government decision to recind this outrageous and I agree this act of treason to sell the birth right of every St Lucian for to pieces of silver.
I look forward to the opposition, the national trust media and other groups to challenge the tribunal decision to allow the pillars at pigeon point to remain standing.
We must challenge this continued blatant disrespect shown to all St Luciains by hoteliers in regard to access to the beach. A clear policy on access and use of the beaches by all include the visitors must be outlined and penalties for breaches enforced I say so because to often we St Lucians abuse and vandalize facilities and the enjoyment of others. Example the ind discriminate disposal of rubbish including defecating and urinating against the buildings and trees, horse riding and kicking ball regardless the many others trying to relax and enjoy the beach to name a few of our indiscretions.
It is the right of all to enjoy the beach safely and without disturbances by few who chooses to ignore the safety of the majority of others. It is time shower, changing room and storage facilities are provided or made accessible at a cost beach users.
