Mr. Chastinet I feel your article to be biased towards the police, where is it ever said that the Police can take the law into their own hands and be judge, jury and executioner? State sponsered murder is the worse kind ever, how does this type of crime fit with so called Christianity. I think your attitude is part of the problem, the one that makes people believe that some of us are beyond the law, police and criminals alike.
The only solution to the crime situation is to get rid of the corruption in Goverment, including the police, and make sure that the police who haven't got dirty hands are trained to the highest levels and resources put into the forensics, clues that are left by the criminal.

This is what has happened somewhat in Saint lucia. Police who have relatively clean hands are at the helm. When you are clean that's when you have power to clean the dirt around. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. Ninety-nine point nine, nine percent of Luicans are nervous about this new police Team, because they are crooked.

Who put cocoa outside, look out for rain. Nuff said.

Let me be clear. I mean ninety-nine, point nine, nine percent of Lucians are crooked, hence the uneasiness and nervousness about this new police team.

Let us face it there is a certain amount of short sigightendness from Mr.Chastinent. He seems to forget that we live in a domocarctic society and we are all subject to the laws of the land. And that includes the police. At the rate of police killings it won't be too long before we head some league table for the highest level of homicides by police per capita. When the International community starts to shun us for our blatant abuse of Human Rights and it starts to affect our ability to access overseas grants and foreign aid. Please remember Mr. Chastinent on which side of the argument you are currently standing.

I agree with the previous blogger. Currently the British press and internet services including Yahoo bloggers are encouraging people to boycott St. Lucia over the handling of the rape of two British women. Obviously Mr. Chastinent can not see beyond the counting of his current million dollars. When Plolcie murder starts to affect our Tourism trade, lets see how Ti Chastinent reacts.
