Blogger #1 you should be commenting on and analysing the ideas that Emma Hipplolyte has offered here. You should be engaging her and other bloggers on how these ideas might be honed, improved and finally implemented for the good of our Gros Ilet community and by extension all communities in Saint Lucia.

This is the kind of discourse that the SLP has initiated and that you Spida and the rest of that pathetic lot have shown an unwillingness and possibly the inability to rise to.

So much for your tongue-in-cheek comment. Hopefully the majority of electors are not as narrow, negative and myopic as you are!

Any way I will reiterate the following:

Blogger #1 should address the issues that Ms.Hippolyte has raised in her article. The blogger would do well to engage her and other bloggers in honing and improving these ideas towards finding solutions to the problems and development issues facing our community of Gros Ilet and Saint Lucia generally.

The blogger's tongue-in-cheek comment betrays either a refusal or an inabilty to step up to the plate and take the debate far above the mepris level, to one of intelligent discourse and debate.

The SLP continues to demonstrate with statements like these that they are engaging the electorate at a level that the UWP has so far failed to do - and quite frankly it is quite late for them to do it.

I suppose that the Flambeaus will eventually release a manifesto - when there is little time left before the election for meaningful discussion of their proposals. Meanwhile I applaud the Labour Party for having weeks ago taken the high ground with their proposals for a programme to rescue our country, and for giving us ample opportunty to scrutnise and discuss it, and to engage them on it.

Bravo Emma! you are a much valued addition to Dr.Anthony's Team!

Does Spider have a vision? When does he intend to put out his manifesto or vision on his WEB-site?
(pun intended).

Honestly I don't believe there is anyone on the UWP ticket who has any vision for any part of St. Lucia. Their vision is for themselves as to how fat their pockets could get if they could spend some more time in government. Flowing Taiwanese monies, kickbacks from direct contracts, bribes from potential investors. The opportunities are numerous.
These guys should all be in jail even if we have to build another prison to put them.

I do not know about Emma life, but I see some double standard here. Most men in politics in St lucia have mulitiples women including married women. Our so called father of the nation was married and he had multiple women including under age school girls. Most of the people who now use that as an excuse, were not supporting Emma in the first because they had no problems supporting Compton. The same rule should apply to both men and women, i can't see why we support the men, when they do it and critiize the women for doing the same thing.

It does not matter if this behavior is carried out by a man or a woman. It is just wrong. Similar behavior by the former leader was wrong, immoral and unethical and the issue was raised and people disliked it. A wrong, immoral and unethical behavior then and now should always be condemned such because it reflects negatively on the quality of governance and leadership.

UWP have no achievements to talk about, so now they trying imoraliity as if there is any morals in their party. A party who has created more scandals than any government in the history of St Lucia. Even Fred Ric is still among them malpalaying people. Bruce Tucker is there. Mom daay Zoid is there there. Illiterate Guy is there making insulting noises. Liar Pain en Painer is there fooling around. Semi literate King of the pack trying to bluff us with love talk. If he had any love for us poor people, he would have fixed the country after Tomas with the millions he borrowed instead of using it to campaign and paying foriegn artists.

Three MPs resigned.
Three MPs arested for breaking the law.
0ne actually is an exprisoner.
Two were in court for stealing from the public purse.
One was found guilty and convicted by the high court for stealing from the public purse.
One was found to be lying in the high court.
Million to each by the Taiwwanese not accounted for.
Over a billion dollar borrowed and nobody can see what that money was used for.
90 million to. Buy an old building to house Vagrants, Rats and stray dogs.
Etc, etc, etc, etc, etc
That is morality UWP style...................

AA you forgot the main one, Fred Rich is considered an international nongrater because both his visitor and diplomatic visas were revoked and he is tryig to blame everybody else but himself for that. You know what that make it worse is, the man has no shame he had to resigned. Now he is back on UWP platform playing sainty trying to get re elected. After they are trying to keep the reasons for the visa revocation a secrete, Fred Rich is on UWP platform shout the loudest calling everybody else dishonest and voleur, this man has no shame. A man who made history in St Lucia as being arested as a minister for stealing. This is the UWP who desperately want to continue to rule our destination.

My predictions for Elections 2011:

17 0 0 0 0 in favor of the SLP.

Long live the SLP God's chosen ppl to lead St Lucia forward.They will win the upcoming elections. Brother Kenny "Moses" Anthony will lead our ppl on to the promised land. Just remember my predictions on 19/11/2011.

Now all you UWP apologists, sympathizers, hacks and opportunists you can start your usual runtings with y'all sweaty faces, foamning mouths and bad breath!
