Bravo, Micah! En fin,you have now written an article that is truly well written, unbiased and substantive. The relevant issues stand out with no political favoritism. Continue to write future articles in that vein.

Yes, this is a good article by Micah. Dalsou will learn that Government is not a political rally where people can say what they want without the facts. He put his foot in his mouth on this one. We can only hope it's the last time. What could possibly be wrong with the CCC pressing tenants to pay their rentals? Will Dalsou continue to intervent in the management of the CCC? Hope not.

St. Lucia is looking to a new type of leader who will give us an honest assessment of what is needed to move us forward.

Dalson is inexperienced, thinks that he has assume some kind of superior role to tell people how to run this country.

The problem is that the new political leaders do not have the focus, selflessness, patience, Judeo Christian principles, courage or interest in the people of St. Lucia.

They and the "leaders" of our country are only interested in their own self aggrandizement and money in their pockets.

St. Lucia needs a leader of a party who wants to move us forward, realizes that we have to have a certain level of personal responsibility and want to prove ourselves better and more competent than the white man.

Who is that person who is different than the Kennys or Kings or Vaughns or Phillips ?

Dalson should stick with Soufriere.

Why not have Lorne help in Castries? After all, with tourist arrivals tumbling he will have to find something to do with his time...

I think that there needs to be a revamp of the system. To have those vendors owing so much is a shame especially if it is proven that some are showing signs of having made a lot of money. I think the whole cost structure should be reexamined and a new contract written up if possible that would reflect a more responsible approach from the vendors. We know that some may indeed be falling on hard times but they should be looked at on a case by case basis.

The issue with the vendors is created by the philosophy of the liberals running our country. They have abandoned our Judeo Christian heritage and break all the rules of our civilization.

The vendors are excused their lack of PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY so are allowed to run up these huge debts.

The politicians on both sides have the authority but do not want the RESPONSIBILITY of having to manage the public purse in a mature manner. So they allow the CCC to go bankrupt and then depend on Central Government to bail them out.

The politician especially the Kennys and Phillips see government as part of their liberal benevolant Massa ideology. Like the white man of old they "give" our people money from government as if it is their personal stash. The fact is it is our taxes and money borrowed in our name that they are "giving " out.

Again no sense of responsibility and they all do nor realize that by wasting our money it is a form of THEFT of the peoples wealth. We are stealing from one group ( by taxing and borrowing) to give to the other group who will not pay their rent.

Who is this "anonymous" blogger that so indiscriminately uses the cold war, right wing rhetoric in which every one he/she disagrees wit is either a liberal, socialist or communist? Why don't you stop this nonsensical use of terms that are bandied about by the American right and red necks in support of an agenda that is only supportive of the super rich and exploitative of others.

I suspect you don't even understand the terms you so glibly regurgitate!

Typical house slave on the white man's liberal plantation.

As soon as rhetoric using anything but the liberal/socialist terminology that person becomes some kind of racist or black man who does not understand what he is doing.

after 40 years of the liberal amrican crap we have one of the highest murder rates in the Caribbean islands and American cities run with liberal ideas by Democrats.

Detroit in America which is predominantly black has a litteracy rate of a underdeveloped African nation.

Most African American pregnancies in New york City end up as abortions.

If it ain't working then fix it.

You and your kind have run our black societies into the ground and keep offering up the same liberal/progressive/socialist garbage day in and day out.

Time for Change in our countries.

Name us one thing that is going to be different under the liberal SLP and their academic failed leader after 5 years than what it is now ?

1. This article is so BADLY written - it was painful to read, even aloud! Micah, you could do better, or fire your proof reader!! However, I must admit, the article is timely.

2. The CCC seems to have some blatant issues regarding financial management - that's what it is - get rid of that problem, now. It should NOT be Dalson, or the government to do this.

3. I have had dealings with the CCC, and I must say that the staff are a bunch of bwa-bwa's who cannot tell their face from their elbow. They can never keep their records straight - so I'm not surprised of their financial management skills.

4. Get rid of the bwa-bwa staff - hire "efficient" staff (even if they have to be trained), and make sure they keep to the discipline of financial management.

Then, you will have an efficient CCC, even with proper flooring, and doors which lock properly in the town hall.

Note to CCC directors - get rid of the bwa-bwa staff!!
