This is a welcoming story about a group which has added so much to our St. Lucian community.

And has taken away just as much.

Ah, St Lucian racism at its best.

A nation of lazy, uneducated fools pours scorn on those who come here to work hard.

Doesn't stop us eating in the Chinese restaurants or buying from these foreign owned firms though does it?

Indeed, it's a good job they are here or there would be next to nothing on this island in the sun.

Let nme tell you all a little about the Syrians back home. After so many years in St.Lucia they still look at us like we are nothing but the same old negro everybody thinks once you black ou are. How many of us Lucians can just walk into Syria and open shop and say yes this is home. I have heard them abuse my people I was on vacation home a couple years ago when that idiot disrespect an elderly old woman I tell him off. I curse his ass so stink he run and hide.#3 I couldn't agree with you more, all who cherish them are the ones who likes to beg them for credit of a piece of cloth etc.

So you are an even bigger fool to be in such a nation.

And when you are leaving, please take your Syrian Capitalist Vultures along with you.

Its about time we stop,i mean that STOP the reverse racism, the world is global and we are all citizens of the earth, black, white,Syrians,Jews, yes St.Lucians its about time we look beyond ethic, racial lines, you are here not by chose, you had no decision in selecting your skin color,or your ethnicity,or for that matter your gender, does in really make a difference, really don't you have eyes and feet and hands, not an alien,i suppose we live we die, lets not regurgitate the old dogma, that we learn from men that cant see past color, ethnicity,or gender,we have indeed been stigmatize by our own color, disrespected and most cases we dont attribute to race, how many of us call it racism, when a black man kills a black man, what happened to a man who was born in Castries do we stigmatize him only on the basis of NOT being born in Soufriere for that matter, does it matter where i was born,if we had the same skin color, its all divisive there are good and bad in everyone Black, white,Jews and yes Syrians did i mention St.Lucian.Oh ye men of small minds,we live,we die, does it really at the end of the day..if a rose is red, pink, blue, its still a rose, does it matters if it was planted in America and brought to St.Lucia in the end we all belong to the human race...lets be more like the sun, shine on everyone..I have been insulted by many a St.Lucian...and no that does not give justification for hate..there is no us but its we and all.We all belong to the human race, let us widen our perspective not be narrow minded, blacks hates blacks, whites hate whites, blacks hate whites and hates blacks that is the commonality and yes there are St.Lucians who hate St.Lucians lets dispel hate and amplify LOVE!!
