Although I think of my self as having a strong quiet belief in God, I can identify with the frustration of the brother. I have increasingly question the prayer-before-meeting practice, especially as a mere formality task, and moreover as an unnecessary act that does not impact the ethical and intellectual behaviours in such a meeting.
I leave a Bible (Jesus) quote from Matthew 6:5 with all (Christian or not) -
