That's a coherent and flawless presentation of an appeal to reason by Jason. “O judgment! Thou art fled to brutish beasts, And men have lost their reason.”

A brilliantly presented challenge to the seekers of TRUTH.
Joseph, you know only too well, “Where ignorance is bliss, it is erroneous to show wisdom”, but Shakespeare is on your side:

“Ignorance is the curse of God; knowledge is the wing wherewith we fly to heaven.

Just a brilliant challenge to the sane and logical; GREAT ARTICLE!!

PS: Jason meant, “by modifying” not “my modifying”; typing error.

Worship the Dead!

Pope Benedict XVI has given the deluded Worshipers of Dead People, permission to pray to seven more Dead people. These Dead people now possess the powers to save the petitioners from death if an image or amulet of one of these Dead Persons are in their pockets or purse when they experience some “fatal” event, e.g. heart failure, run-over by a cement truck, or if shot through the heart with a 12 Gage Shotgun.

What a pity these Dead People were not in possession of an image of themselves when Death “KILLED” them, making them powerless to move an eyelid.

What is it with this praying to Dead People with these Christians??

Both Jason and son-of-man, Jason's side-kick, shoulds now smell the coffee... Few people are now reading Jason's verbiage. Few people are commenting on his writing. In other words more people are unimpressed with Jason's writing. Take a sabbatical.

Nothing is so good for an ignorant man as silence;

and if he was sensible of this he would not be ignorant.

What exactly in Jason's article has invoked your envy and anger so much that you wish Jason were dead? Was it his request that you consider the insanities of your actions, like praying to dead people? Or was it his request that you employ some intellect in the execution of your programed religious actions like worshiping the God killed by the Romans on Good Friday, and buried under some big rocks for three days?

Now this is where I differ with Jason, when he accredits a vain nincompoop as yourself with being “otherwise intelligent”. Jason in his magnanimousness describes your behavior as an effort to deny your stupidity, but I have attributed your actions to vanity, for it is the quicksand of reason. How could anyone who worships and pray to dead people be considered intelligent?

But Vanity? It is the fruit of ignorance. It thrives most in subterranean places, like the crab-hole, never reached by the air of heaven and the light of the sun.

Son of Man, I really think you're a sonofabitch instead.
