Easy for you socialists to talk after YOUR government and YOUR party borrowed $2,000,000,000 when in power.

Easy for you liberals to talk when YOUR government, YOUR party increased interest payments from $1.25 million per month to $1.5 million per WEEK so there is no more money to do anything else with our taxes.

It is easy for YOUR govt and YOUR party to quote figures that no one can prove because it is you who told us nothing about the $100 million for Rochamel or the NCA fiasco to the sale of the government building in the USA or the deal with our potential oil deposits and the cost to extricate ourselves from the deal.

And it is your leader who consistently gives a 6 for a 9 and is the biggest snake oil salesman in the country.

Thank you for VAT Earl and Kenny ad Phillip !

Hey!

Please tell us why the hell we are in CARICOM again?

Oh yes! To export our bananas to the other member countries. You idiot!

No? Must be to follow like monkeys and be like the majority and have stronger diplomatic relations with Mainland China.

Any more asinine reasons to remain in CARICOM? Oh yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! I've got it!

What's it?

Yes of course! To follow the frigging common external tariff.

You missed that?

I don't think the UWP ever said it was opposed to VAT. I think it has clearly stated it has issues with the timing of VAT. On the other the Labour Party in times past, when in opposition, stated it's opposition to the introduction of VAT. Let us be fair and impartial on this issue.

With all the examples they had of neighboring countries that introduced VAT, one would think the process would be much smoother. Do I have any confidence in all these regulatory bodies who are supposed to make sure that price gouging does not happen and that businesses turn in their VAT etc? NO!!There will be the usual corruption and borbol and as usual, the poor people will suffer!
