Again, our talk-show hosts do not ever seem ashamed or even embarrassed to show their immaturity with the medium. No matter how popular they think they are. They do not know when they have overstepped the mark.

Exhibiting much greater professionalism and knowledge of the field and more training in the broadcasting field would have forced them to ask for clarification of what exactly the minister meant by the threat to the state.

That too would have revealed an appreciation and awareness of the political science field at work.

The call for an apology sounds just too much like that the work of party hacks taking a partisan approach, or a partisan side on the issue. Both of them, just greenhorns.

When it comes to decency; Baptiste cannot in any way compare with either Andre Paul or Charlie.

See how these gentlemen straightened him out. Just like the gentlemen they are. I particularly liked the manner in which Charlie dismissed Alva.

If any one knows who Alva Baptiste's father is; then one cannot expect any better.

The father with nothing to show was himself always on a perpetual high horse.

Well done Charlie and Andre.

Good for you Andre. Show those fools you are not afraid. Alva think he won't ever stroll in catapul in Laboowee. Well think again your time will come. Pride goes before a fall.

I am so embarrassed for Alva Baptiste. This man calls himself a Foreign Minister? His words could have a terrible effect on foreigners wishing to visit St Lucia. His party needs to reprimand him, and my fellow St Lucians should take him to task.Thank you Andre and Charlie for exposing the FRAUD.

I made the comment on another forum on the danger Lucians face as the incompetence of the SLP becomes more and more apparent.
i said these liberals/socialists are just there for the money and power and as their mismanagement and inefficience gets more glaring then be prepared for the strong armed tactics.
This is an Administration linking St Lucia with socialist police states for a reason.

so said so done. Baptiste talks about gorilla tactics. A young man gets beaten up in Soufriere. The PM offers veiled threats to UWP supporters and opposition members. The country's business is treated like the personal perogative of Kenny Anthony with no answers about the visa affair, ALBA, Grynsburg, Rochamel and the countrys finances.

3rd world goons showing their true colours.
But Cgarlie and Andre must remember that HTS along with that reprobate Francis are part of the SLP team of scamps.

What is interesting is that the only person to show Kenny for the fake he is was a woman. Sarah Flood.
The other MPs have just crawled into their shells afraid to say or do anything against the emperor with no clothes. The moo moo phillip pierre the door mat menissa the fools calixte and petrus the useless women alvina and emma - all signing for their supper refusing to admit the utter failure caller kenny anthony. Every day he goes to bed having accomplished nothing like the thousand of days befote as PM except to cause more strife and hatred in st lucia.

SHE SAY,

HE SAY,

MY WAY, THE OTHER DAY.

ca-kan, ca-kan,

Mape-wee, mape-wee

What a bunch of Small-Minded Islanders.

The Sky is falling and you're concerned about who drinking white rum, and who's drinking Bounty.

I hope one of these cruise missiles Obama is about to launch misses Syria and sinks one of your Tourist ships, maybe then you ignorant lucians will have something to talk about.

This is some real smaaaaaal time behaviour from some Disk Jokeys playing Politics.

AND THERE IS THE LUCIAN FAVOURITE WORDS : KI MOUN MI-SEY KWERE E-YAY!! E-PA EN-YEN.

This is the Negro at his Best.

If those comments were made in any Western Country like Britain the minister would have to apologise or resigned. It is democracy at it's lowest with comments like PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF LABORIE,knowing very well that he is a foreign minister who represents St.Lucia on the international stage where maybe one day his words will come to haunt him as he will be the next minister to have his VISA REVOKED?

Ignorant people think that democracy is just about voting. Democracy is the sum total of the behaviour of a citizenry. The voters, the Press, Academia etc and how they act on a daily basis.
You can have all the laws but if a people are uncivilized and ignorant then voting is irrelevant.
That seems to be where we are.

You mean Kenny Anthony is still hanging with the waste matters of Calixte George and Petrus Compton.

Little wonder Lucia in that MESS.

It is amazing! the amount of idiots living on this island. You hear them on the talk shows daily. It's not even funny.Charlie is a diehard Chasnet supporter so Chasnet shit don't stink and u know the rest. This island needs education.

Son of man is king!!!
I didn't realize that St Lucians were so ignorant (well the majority of them)
Alva Baptiste like any other politician has the right to say anything he desires on a political platform once its not illegal. He didn't break any laws. What he said was very humorous and should be taken as such! We are too polarized here in St Lucia. Andre Paul and that cuckoo charlie has no right to take it personal and ask for an apology. Although I do not support Chastanet I admire him for taking Baptiste statement as just humor!

The comment above please explain to me what is so humorous about the ministers comments. You have to realise that he is a minister and he has to lead by example. If it were a police officer or class teacher who made those comments to a member of public how would many of you feel? You would be same the persons calling for them to be sacked? It just shows how BLIND many of you are when it comes to party politics.

4:07 AM talking about setting example, what you say about Chastanet a man vieing to be PM of the country. He show up with some party thugs in party colours and placards making noise, trying to disturd a government.

Anonymous said...

2:42 PM you mean Chastanet still hanging with IDIOTS like Guy Joseph, Easy Cal,Spida, Ass in James, Ass ta fan, Tucker, Mon day zee, King etc, etc? Little wander they put St Lucia in such a mess after just 5 yrs in office.

It boggles the mind that any decent human thinks it's okay for a Foreign Minister to show his ass off. In the age of social media, it's painfully obvious that he has done himself and St Lucia a disservice. He came across like an arrogant bully on the streets. Where is his dignity?I applaud Andre Paul and his colleague for calling out the thug. Hopefully the people of Laborie and the general public will see through him as well.

Just two clowns in a radio station. Only the idiots are laughing.

What kind of politics is in this country? A Minister talking like this what a shame, especially when you can hear and see that kind of behaviour internationally. Need public speaking school.
When did Laborie become People's Republic, what's up with that! Lucians you need a change.

Why does it still surprise us when our politicians behave in this manner? This is nothing new. His party obviously doesn't see anything wrong in what he said because they have not addressed it.

The arrogance which SLP displayed the last time they were in office is showing up again. Oh how quickly they forget! Their time in opposition clearly did not teach them humility. Politicians come and go, the voters can be fickle, don't get carried away.
