Fire Service Management Comes Under Fire

Public Service Commission Member Mr. Wilbert King will no doubt be very familiar with the wretchedness that passed as leadership and management of the St. Lucia Fire Service.

There is no doubt that given these extenuating circumstances, the CFO must be relieved of that position at least or at best SENT HOME in the Public interest.

It is about time that precedence be set in the Public Service where ACCOUNTABILITY is concerned.

There is no time for EGOs at the destruction of the professional lives of so many public servants.

MINISTERS IN GOVERNMENT AS WELL AS OTHER SENIOR PUBLIC OFFICERS INCLUDING PERMANENT SECRETARIES MUST NOW BE CALLED OUT WHEREVER SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND MISCONDUCT RAISES ITS UGLY HEADS.

I agree with you blogger. There is an instance of a Minister having sex and resulting in a child being born to a very young clerk in his Ministry. And the wretch is a married man. And he continued his shameless behaviour without any conscience; and his wife is a high profile individual. Little wonder that his children are so deviant.
