Is the national security Council aware of the situation at the forensic lab?Is it aware that it is not functioning as it should? Is it aware that many of the workers have had their services terminated?
When the prime minister addressed the nation why didn't he say what he would do to make the lab functional as a critical part of his crime-fighting and solving strategy.
As consistant with his past behavior, either he does not care or he is simply incompetent or both.Either way the people are the ones paying the price for re-electing him.

the national security advisor is the former police commissioner who was incompetent(Ausbert Regis)
Only in St.lucia that someone who could not do a job is promoted to an advisory position to advise his replacement as to how to do a job he himself did not have neither the capability nor the capacity to do.
Incidently, ausbert Regis(national security advisor)was a former teacher who failed the teacher education program at Teachers College.
Of course,he has continued to fail up to this day.Taxpayers continue to pay his salary even though he is incompetent.

The comment of the blogger right above at September 18 at 11.26 AM is a very sad commentary indeed for St. Lucia universally.

National security is directly tied to foreign direct investment.

An individual not able to pass a Teacher education program. Depicted incompetence, a complete waste and other things described; could be the country's national security advisor; speaks to what we all know about the kenny anthony. In short; he is not worth the office he now holds.

Shame on kenny anthony for embarassing St. Lucia.

What a joke!

Chaired by the little socialist under whose watch our internal security has plunged.

Not one of the jokers named there can do anything but protect their salaries and pensions.

The head joker even if offered answers would just politisize it and destroy any effectiveness.

You could take the first 10 names in the telephone directory and they would be more effective than these players.
We have a dearth of leadership in this country. Little boys playing with marbles.
