Like to hear it or not; I would vote Stephenson King any day; before I could ever vote for either Kenny Anthony or Allen Chastanet.
And this has nothing to do with skin color. In my view, having observed Stephenson King during his reign as Head of Government; it is clear to me that he has the traits of a GOOD LEADER that neither kenny nor chstanet could ever have.
Notwithstanding King may not have obtained certificates at the level of those obtained by the two fellars; the fact is as a result of his EXPERIENCE and his ABILITY (OBVIOUSLY) to listen to his technicians and understand to have been in a position to take decisions; St. Lucia weathered the storm of financial and economic batterings during his term in office.
Not so ever with Anthony; and will never be so with Chastanet; whose record at the tourist board and the ministry of tourism; shows absolute recklessness, discord, confusion, chaos and millions of dollars going down the drain.
By the way I wonder if Janice Compton with her backwardness has something to do with chastanet being the leader of UWP.
These folks will get the SHOCK of their lives. Chastanet will lose his seat; anywhere he goes. They will take his MONEY; AND vote FOR someone else!

Just a beautiful and serious piece of historical fact that many of the self-hating Negroes would be incapable of appreciating. You stated however, that the lessons of Goddard was a telling statement that Lucians would not vote to empower Caucasians.
Who were these folk in Marigot who were so quick to discard a Black Leader and replace him with a White Jesus that the people of Soufriere had the common sense to reject as their representative named Chastnet.
Many of these UWP Negroes displayed the typical Negro characteristic of ingratitude by repaying King with a dagger in his back. Let me remind you once again, that these were Lucians. King was an excellent and kind Leader but his physical characteristic were too Black and did not fit the standards of pale skin and thin lips and Nostrils that the self-hating Negroes perceive as superior. BLACK or WHITE
Why is it that Allan Chastanet is ‘white’ but somehow Kenny has no colour. Let us put the issue to bed as to Chastanet’s racial composition. Allan Chastanet’s father is black. Did you see his siblings? They are/were all different shades of brown and I am sure that if Pat Brown (with his poor memory who only knows facts that back up his spurious arguments ) were to tell us the truth we would know the actual racial composition of Michael Chastanet’s parents and which was black, white or of mixed racial parentage.
Kenny’s father was white (not brown or black) but somehow it is never an issue.
The Ku Klux Klan in the racist America South would classify people according to their percentage of blackness. Our racist liberals on this board want to do the same and classify degrees of blackness.
The issue though is not about race. Race is just the excuse by the liberals to keep the freeness coming to them through the political process and I shall deal with this next.
Politics and Racism in St. Lucia.
The issue about Chastanet’s blackness is not the real point in this debate. This racism by the liberal 'elite' class has been brought up to protect freeness.
The real issue is that the liberals see politics as the last bastion of their freeness and they want to make sure that the spigot of money from the tax payers and VAT payers of St. Lucia is not turned off.
The African American for example has been indoctrinated to think that they must live off of government and taxes whether the welfare state or jobs in Government from the Post Office to public transportation - even though the trillions spent has bankrupted America which is on a downward spiral.
Kenny Anthony like his counterpart Obama in the USA has never had a real job in his life that did not depend on the taxpayers of their countries. Whether at CARICOM or UWI or in the St. Lucia Government Kenny has always mooched off of the taxpayers of St. Lucia or the Caribbean. He has never had to compete in the real marketplace but has made his millions OFF OF THE PEOPLE OF ST. LUCIA.
Even when given just a little bit of responsibility he cannot help but lose a suitcase of money yet this is the person entrusted with the billions of dollars that have passed through the national treasury since 1997. That is why he can only function in the liberal freeness environment in places like UWI, the CARICOM Secretariat and the GOSL where money is legislated out of the pockets of the taxpayer to give to these parasites. In those environments they all know that they are there for the freeness so they all think alike and all spew the same false information to keep the money flowing. That is why when you hear CARICOM this or OECS that OR UN the other - it is all the same propaganda to keep these people in money.
Therefore for the Alva Baptistes and Pat Browns it is not about racism. The call of racism is the liberal hammer to hit anyone who would threaten their freeness from the public purse.
Alva Baptiste never had a ‘real ‘ job in his life not dependant on the public purse. He ‘fraid’ of losing his massive salary and $400/day per diems when he travels all over the world on the peoples’ VAT money.

Remember that when you are out of power and in the political wilderness so to speak, you make deals.
Do you remember the major back-room deal that George Odlum cut with Mr. Allan Louisy?
When Louisy did not hold up his end of the bargain, did that not bring down the Labour government? But was the public very much aware of that deal going into the elections that brought Labour into power?
Perhaps, Kenny did make it clear that he had no intentions of keeping, or making good on promises made, irrespective of whatever that was originally said or assumed at the bargaining table.

Saint Lucians and smart investors know that there is no hatred of white people. Saint Lucians are subsidizing the tourism sector which is in the hands of foreign white owners and local mixed race people.
What is in grave danger here is the control of the economy, the food distribution sector already captured, and the potential for concentration of political power with that, in the hands of one single family.
By any standard, this is not going to result in any type of democratic future for this country. It will not matter how many times per year we vote even.
Already there is lingering fear that the leadership election in the UWP was paid for with cash.
Given past behavior, we are instead, only readying ourselves for a full-fledged Latin American style Banana Republic.

King was deliberately lied to, persons who took assignments never did them, supporters were asked not to speak in his favor or call the media to make sure it would look like he did nothing. Branch chairpersons were paid to remove names of long standing bonafide delegates to new and questionable characters. A requirement of validating the list of delegates by the appropriate body which had to be done prior to the convention was never done, an issue which questions immensely the validity of the win. Most of the persons holding current positions are individuals who never associated with the party at least publicly. Consequently, there are supporters on the ground who are quite disgruntled especially after hearing how much persons were paid.
