Its ashame that this goverment cannot contorl their own house and have to bring outside help to help with the same police force that are corrupt and goverment ministers who are criminals themselves what a shame for fair helen this is not simply beautiful but simply embarassing
The real shame is that the right arm does not knoe what the left is doing.
The PM is quoted on an on official website regarding the police and the deputy commissioner no less is not aware (or claims not to be aware)of any such initiative!
Is one of them plain lying, or been deliberately left out of the loop?
St.Lucia was already on its deathbed, but now...? As if giving the universally-despised Israelis access to our water supply isn't frightening enough, we now have Israeli soldiers coming to "help" with the crime situation? Yes, Israeli soldiers, the same ones who routinely kill, torture and humiliate a defenseless Palestinian population with total impunity, will now be turned loose on the streets of St. Lucia, presumably to "help" the government continue to wage a losing war on its own people and its own economy in the form of the "War on Drugs". I shudder to think of the experiements and the plans that these children of Lucifer have in mind for us. Is there NOBODY in St. Lucian politics with ANY awareness of who these people are and why 90% of the world fears and hates them so much? Inviting Israelis to St. Lucia is sheer MADNESS, and will prove to be the most dreadful decision ever made in St. Lucian politics. May God have mercy on all the St. Lucians at this terrible time!
It is insanity to bring in outside help to fight crime, especially the Israelis. They are considered by every major human rights organization to be the worst abuser of human rights in the world today. If government was serious about ending crime, they would simply end the War on Drugs, which is the cause of all our problems.
we should all get down on our hands and knees and beg that the UK forgives us for stupidity seeking independence. St. Lucia was blind and infantile seeking something we niether deserved nor were ready for.

Per capita St. Lucia has double the amount of police
as The Netherlands with 16 million people.
St. Lucia has a far higher crime and murder rate.
So it is clear that the government can not handle the problem. The only way out is help from outside.
With the Israelis and the secret Mossad the big drug bosses and their collaborators have 2 options. Either leaving the island or being eliminated.
The Netherlands recently closed down their 8 major prisons because they simply don't have enough crime. The reason they don't have violent crime is because they don't have a War on Drugs. The solution to St. Lucian crime is not to step up the war on drugs, but to end it and let a free-market economy take hold like in the Netherlands.
Bring in the British (not fat retired ones but the real thing) by all means and let them keep the Israeli's in check.
Just don't let the corrupt Police and Government people run behind them when they find the source of the rot.
The Press should stop worrying about the race and nationality of the outside help and focus on the job and the results!!
The Police Welfare Association should also step back and let the outsiders dig deep without them calling for strike and on TV everyday and making foolish demands.

This country can be governed a hell of a lot easier than all the obstacle courses both governments created in the last three decades. If criminals are100% guilty, then shoot or hang them in public or on television. When a criminal violates the rights of others, they forfeit all their constitutional rights.
Mark my word, you will only make it unbearable beyond anyone's imagination once Israel takes hold of power on this black majority nation. St Lucia’s problem lies within with the police-customs-immigration and other officials, Chief Vernon knows what to do. How do you think these pieces of crap can have such a lucrative business, by bypassing customs-immigration-police and other measures of security to violate “Mother Helen” ? The help and assistance comes from within. If we are to believe that the police-customs-Marine unit-immigration and numerous officials etc etc are vigilant and are in charge of St Lucia’s safety, then something is really wrong with that belief.
I’d rather have a dictator an bully like Chavez, or a genius like Castro to help St Lucia instead of Israelis. The Americans have their own demons with racism. They have a genius and a Messiah as president and they are still behaving like Americans 300 years ago.
On the other hand, Canada is a country of great civility-law-rules-compassion-tolerance and the list goes on. For the St Lucian government to even think of asking the parasitic Israelis to step foot on "Mother Helen's" soil is TREASON.
For anyone of the readers out there reading my opinion which is fact, don't bother replying with an attack, because I do not give a rat-ass what any of you think. What most of the readers do is attack one another instead of writing something worthy-logical or inspiring.
If St Lucians of today were not so full of themselves as in me-myself and I, St Lucia would have been the poster-child for success-tolerance-tranquility and the paradise it once was in this region.
We may as well turn back the clock to 300 years in the past when St Lucia was nothing more than a toilet for Europeans and other scumbags nations to use while plundering every ounce of resource St Lucia possessed. Including the infrastructure of bondage of our forefathers and mothers. Rustic remnants litter our landscapes today of a time in purgatory that still exists through out the land and boasts as historical exhibits. It’s nothing more than historical garbage.
Are you people really blind to the rapid encroachment of foreign interests suffocating your every breath 25/8 and 366 days a year? Bringing the Israeli evil empire to a paradise lost is an absolute "NO NO" find another answer.

What none of you get is that 'they' have already entered our beautiful land. They are in our finances, tourism investments, businesses and throughout the Caribbean already. They come as Americans, Russians, and as practically every nationality - they are now poised to take over the entire region. Mark my words, they are the ones now advising our government(s) to bring in the Israeli soldiers.
