I cannot put it any other way to express my disgust.
Kenny Anthony is a low class, immoral, reprehensible piece of scum.
How can some one who cursed , embarassed and treated the Taiwanese like dirt now place his Administrations fat dirty grubby hands on Taiwanese money and now pretend that they are friends?
Even if we know of his recklessness with money, incompetence (rochamel, grynsberg)and two faced scampishness - this open unmitigated ass kissing now that it is the slp and not uwp on top is pathetic. And worst still so many lucians see nothing wrong with that.
My friend above they call it "St. Lucian politics"...Just look at what has happened with MenEAter RAMballsy and Michael Willius? The first is/was popular with the boys and the second one is total and unequivocal failure - quality plastics and watch where they are now...Kenny has always been a good manipulator of the people because he comes from a looooooong lineage of plantation owners.
You all FLAMBOWS can tall all you all crap, none of you can show me one so called leader of that UWP grouping of corrupt, semi literate, none performers and uppertunist who have achieved anything for St Lucia more than Kenny?
Menissia and M Wilson are educated St Lucians just like all of us, so they deserve to make a contribution just like everybody else. Let us look for our own uppertunities and stop being envious of others.
The P.M of St. Lucia is absolutely CLUELESS. He used his 'inherited traits' - especially that of manipulation and deceit, to once again con his way into office. Here you have a man, who promised that he would have injected "$100M into the economy within his first 90 days of assuming office" ...Here you have a man in 2009, who encouraged civil servants to strike if they did not receive their "14.5% increase" and this same man today asserts that the reason that the country is in such economic turmoil is because of the "ill-advised 14.5% given to civil servants by the UWP"...SICK.
St. Lucians need to wake up and realize what is happening around them. This island is becoming like Trinidad during the early to mid 90's, when there was an erosion of the middle class. Right now in SL there are just 2 classes of people - the upper and lower class and the P.M and his cohorts, well guess where they are? It is an utter shame that an island blessed with such pristine and natural beauty cannot attract more foreign investors. It is an utter shame that an island where it's students are the highest per capita at UWI and other regional institutions, cannot put mechanisms in place to tap into that rich reservoir. All the educated St. Lucians are fleeing for "better days' in America, Canada, UK, etc, that is a shame on the leadership of this island.
Spending all the island's meager resources on inquiry after inquiry to promulgate vitriol and tap into the ignorance of the people...WE as St. Lucians need leaders who are selfless, dedicated and true to the cause; NONE of whom are occupying office right now. Just take a look for example (names refrained), as soon as SLP got into office what did they do? Ambassador here and ambassador there - qualified or not. They then turn around and accuse the UWP of hiring consultants left and right - that most likely is true, however, what's the difference?
There are people hired by the St. Lucian Gov't working as tourism officials in Florida, NY and Georgia living large on the backs of the St. Lucian people - trust me, I meet some of them daily. Tell me how could that be right St. Lucia? House paid for by the SL gov't, vehicle paid for by the SL gov't, etc , etc, etc. How could that be right in a period where a responsible gov't should implement expedient austerity measures to reduce the cost of living for native St. Lucians?

When UWP (SK Admin.) were in power, they did much, much worse than what you hinted above (two wrongs does not equate a right, though). All your begging and supplication then were on the mute button, right? You have suddenly found your voice!!
Please Please why don't we question the uwp ministers who were in office and bleed this country resources, all the Taiwanese fund to those ministers, plus all the aide that was given to st lucia after the fire at st judes, after hurricane Debbie, plus many more aid that was given to st lucia Where did all these moneys go to Shouldn't you blame them for the mess this government inherited.
If the Prime minister is finding ways to boost the island economy why should we go negative.
King could not do it,his minister of tourism was undermining him, Look now he is the political leader, You think he can do better.
Ask about air Jamaica, Ask about him being Minister of tourism.
Then you be the judge and leave party alone.
The Chinese (whether from Tapai or Beijing) are an ancient and wise culture who have seen it all. In fact when they were the world's greatest power for over a millenium they just accepted that they culture was the best, most civilized and prosperous.
So when they meet a primitive, grasping, uncultured set of indivuduals like Kenny, Alva, et al who act contempteously and in such a crass manner - it is nothing to them. They have see uncultured people come and go over the years.
They see the daily decline of St.
lucia under this leadership but the Taiwenese could care less as long as they maintain their credibility with one more UN affiliated nation that recognizes them diplomatically.
The recent assessment of the improvement in the China/Taiwan relationship by St. Lucian incompetent political experts is that this improvement means that St. Lucia is of less improtance to Taiwan since both parties (China/Taiwan) have agreed not to fight over diplomatic allies.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
If tomorrow Taiwan were to lose any or a lot of the 20+ allies who recognize them it would cause a major problem for them diplomatically - and China would take advantage of this to marginalize them and the ruling party in Taipai would suffer in the next elections.
They need St. Lucia, so in spite of the little regard they have for Kenny and his team of incompetents they will play the game as they have been used to doing for hundreds of years with 'barbarians'.
Poor little Helen! Poor VATized St. Lucians!
5:52 AM if you call SLP incompetence, then how will you call UWP? I suppose, Guy Joseph, King, Easy Kal, Ass in James, Chastanet, Spida, the one from Dennery etc,etc are all competent men. Are you not ashame?
