Rather bingo than slot machines, casinos and jumbies all over the place.
So what is the difference between the two? Bingo has been called over 60 years in SLU, you have these poor folks that would buy cards hoping for an ever elusive payday, I have never heard of any body wining that bingo. Does the casinos provide employment form the locals? Can the locals walk into a casino and gamble? I thought the casinos were all in hotels for their patrons.
so what is so wrong with any king of gambling?

It is really a pity that given the responses of the bloggers they did not seem to recognize the central theme of his article.The first paragraph established this.
He was stating a fact that this SLP took one position on an issue while in opposition and in government took the opposite position.
The use of slot machines was yet another instance where Kenny Anthony has reversed his position now that he is in office.
The question is,why is he behaving like this?
Are you people comfortable with a prime minister who behaves in this manner.
Please remember,many persons voted for SLP because they liked the positions it took while in opposition.Now the SLP has reversed most of those positions,haven't they betrayed the people,s trust?
And havent the UWP betrayed the people's trust by stabbing Stephen King in the back in favour of "White" Massa?
Blogger before that fool above me, you make perfect sense . This man Kenny Anthony is waste of time . I was once very pressed with this man but I ko longer feel this way . The country is heading heading upside down, yet u have clowns praising a clueless leader
7:36PM that is all you can think about by saying Kenny is a waste of time. How you have a short memory, because we must remember when Kenny took over leadership of St Lucia the country was in a MESS after 30 yrs of UWP rule when we had our farmers toiling hard and bring millions into the country and aide was very easy to come by because of the cold war. We did not have sufficient PRIMARY school places muchless secondary school places. Remember we had a shieft system. Our prison, police stations, fire stations, health centers, playing fieldings, hospitals, roads, etc,etc were all in a MESS.It was KENNY who fix all things in the country, so before we say Kenny is a waste of time we must think. The amount of hotels, fisheries complexes, and other developments that took place with Kenny in office and we allow the bias media to confuse us to change the government and stalled all the good development that was taking place. Now Kenny is back in office, things are not as easy because he has to clean up the mess left by the disaster left by UWP. Some people want Kenny to create magic in less than two yrs, no government can do that.
Now we hear that SLP Ministers are suing some media people over an article.
Pure intimidation!
Having read the article I had no idea who the people were that they were talking about. In fact the Minister who is making the noise was probably the last SLP clown that I thought was being mentioned.
We have 3rd World arrogant jokers running this country and they are now running scared.
Running scared of WHAT?
Kenny was the one who said he can create magic-it was not me or the voters. Most of us voted for him in good faith but he had betrayed the us. That Better Days crap was good for the elections but bit good for my future and pocket-

@ I am already working may ass out but with vat and a very bad economy , I am working my ass of 4 times as much -so don't blame me for complaining. It's is my right too after believing that crap about better days and believing that Kenny could do better. And don't give me that crap about how bad things were before we put him there. We voted for him to make it better but it look like it's getting worse.
