4,000 for gun charges???. That's why the crime rate so high. You make him pay at least 25,000 for the gun charges.
I agree, they'd think twice the next time, we're not America where everyone has the right to bear arms...stupid if you ask me.
I my opinion there should be only custodial sentences for posession of illegal firearm. At least three years for the first offence and double for a subsequent offence.
The country is awash in drug money and such a sentence is really a slap on the wrist as there are enough monetary resources to purchase many more guns.
Get tough on crime but in word and deed.
