My oh my !

The little boy sings for his supper. The court jester praises the tribal leader waiting for his share of the honey when the hunters come back from the forest.

In 2003,04 or 05 who would think that the woefully incompetent and destructive SLP elites having just witnessed over 100 St. Lucians killed under their incompetent watch would be in 2010, harping on their mismanagement of crime as the way forward for St. Lucia.

Unlike some people who oppose Kenny Anthony as Political Leader of the SLP, I am of the opinion that the best opportunity for St. Lucia is this failure as the leader of the opposition come another Elections.

The UWP will have issues in any elections if they continue making the mistakes they made in the initial part of their term. If though they continue on the relatively more stable path of the past few months they will be better of with Kenny as the leader of the SLP.

One just has to go back to the FACTS anf the media reports of the impotent, dumb and infantile responces of the SLP during their tenure to realize how much fodder their is for the UWP with Kenny as the political target.

Well done court jester.

We knew u were inching closer towards your idiotic rants again.
From PEEING IN THE STREET to being A political. It did not take much to get you back ranting. LOL

The amazing thing is that at a time when HUMILITY would be Kenny's best foil this fool comes up with a title "KING KENNY".

What a clown !! With fools like this Kenny in trouble.

Unfortunately this same arrogance getting ready to get back at people if Labour gets into power .

Anonymous said...

Among his many outrageous claim is that Kenny is not arrogant. His whole commentary falls flat on that point alone.

Storm said...

Lmao at the choops at the end..lol
I never thought i'd see that in a newspaper article.

Anonymous said...

Choops.. at the end of the article tells you these people are in a defeatist mode. It's not a hopeful sign of a party confident of winning an election.

Anonymous said...

Ha ha. So you think! Kenny is the better man and for that he will be back on top. Nothing u fools can do about it really. Vote against him, that's your choice. But for every vote lost, 100 more will be gained. Abousak King doesnt stand a chance. And i'm lmao all the way to the voting booth. Lol

Anonymous said...

If Kenny is arrogant then I wonder what name we will call the likes of Rufus Bousquet. The lunatic who jostled and threatened his way back into Cabinet. Sir John must be rolling in his grave.

Anonymous said...

And by the way " Where they get that picture of Bousquet ?

He still looks like the angry, petulant, incompetent, lost in space gargol that he was in December 2006.
I thought he would have changed by now -three years is a long time!

Things looking good for Flambeau but more and more people leaving them. Does this make any sense? Look I hear they launching new party in Compton name. John Compton Patriotic Front (JCPF). Are flambeaus made to vote against a party carrying Compton name? Interesting days ahead.

You can pay any magazine to say that. Get out of here you flambeau and idol worshipper.

Anonymous said...

I worship Saint Lucy because She is my Patron Saint and it is my birthright, so shut up.

Anonymous said...

No. St Lucy is a pretext for promoting flambeau.

Anonymous said...

Check this out people. Why is Springer pretending as if the idea originated with him. Why was King pretending as if this was the first time he gave the same speech.

Poke Kenny, he's well done...he's finished.

Anonymous said...

And what about your disgrace of a PM King? The race hasnt even started yet and he's already lost. Such a dim-wit. And a slobby mess. Ewwwww!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

There can only be one king and it's our Stephenson, no king Kenny.

Anonymous said...

For sure there can only ever be one Stephenson King. The moron that bent ever so low to allow Wyclef to jump over. Such a shame. And the sub-literate fool that struggles daily to form one gramatically correct sentence. What a joke! LOLOLOLOLOL

Anonymous said...

You're sick....

Anonymous said...

The contributor is not sick. He/She is only repeating the facts as is. How about a big cheer for Wycliff?

Anonymous said...

You're sick too.

Anonymous said...

And you're a moron to appreciate having a way below average numb-skull as your PM. You and him and all the yellow tadpoles are on the verge of collapse.

Anonymous said...

You red scorpions will soon use your tail and bite yourselves.

Anonymous said...

If Kenny has learnt, then the Earl has not. This is the kind of language which had SLP to lose. The Earl should have referred to Kenny as a better servant of the people and not King Kenny.

SLP could lose again by "their fault."

Anonymous said...

Arrogance me thinks.

Anonymous said...

A female friend say the headline of this article and could not beleive that given Kenny's image problem and arrogance that this guy could write such a headline or even an article. And ths from an a woman from the intellectual class that should have a certain bit of good will towards the former Prime Minister.
Are these people idiots ?
These are the same people who want to come back and run a country.

Some body had too many rums down by the harbour.

Anonymous said...

And u have been brainwashed for 30 plus years. No wonder u are such a moron

Anonymous said...

You people have been fed garbage for so long that u fail to see the good in Kenny. The positives far outweigh the negatives. Here's a leader who brought Lucians out of the darkness into the light. But u will never see that cause u have probably been blinded by that darkness for far too long

Anonymous said...

If you think Kenny brought St Lucia from the "darkness into the light", what do you say for John Compton.

We all seem to ignore our history. John Compton had a more backward country than Kenny inherited, yet some of us have refused to give him his propts.

Kenny inherited a country which had seen the worst of times but had made significant progress. What did you expect him to do with it? Run it to the ground?

He had no choice but to continue upon the work of John Compton.

Anonymous said...

Dont go down the John Compton road please. What did that man do that was so great? A man who kept us bound and gagged for so long brought us into the light??? Are you freaking kidding me????? This is a man who dished out punishments onto those who didnt support him, depriving them of basic ammenities for as long as he could. Kenny Anthony leads that God wanna-be by miles!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

AND LEARN TO SPELL PLEASE. IT'S PROPS NOT PROPTS. MORON!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Those people adore Kenny just like the North Koreans adore Kim Jong Il.

Anonymous said...

It is so sad what has become of the SLP. The SLP never encouraged its supporters to idolize leaders. They were encouraged to analyze and criticize their leaders objectively. Loyalty was towards country and then party. Now loyalty is towards kenny and then kenny.
Kenny has converted the party into a cult.

Anonymous said...

It's true.

Anonymous said...

See how angry they get upon hearing the name of John Compton. These are the same people who get angry when others don't share in their view of Kenny Anthony.

What goes around comes around! Perhaps Kenny deserve the same stinking mentality that tried to undermine the work of John Compton.

Forget the emotion and idolization of Kenny and let us look at the issues surrounding his failed leadership.

In spite of Dr. Anthony's incompetence with leadership , management and finance he does have one thing going for him in that he is a good talker with the fancy intellectual words and he is intelligent(unfortunately intelligence does not mean competence). If you did not know of his failures beteween 1997-2006 you would think on first impression, that this is somone worth his weight in gold.

We know as a fact (because most of us were all there) that one of Dr. Anthony's biggest problems (in spite of his limitations- SJC was right that he would have made a good Attorney General) was that Earl Bousquet was an incompetent mouthpiece.

Earl cannot see further than his nose and only understands the obvious. He can string two words together to make a sentence but has no insight or finesse. He is rough and ready and a workmanlike wordsmith who is incapable of understanding statesmanship, nation building or anything other than the simple.

The result is that throughout his tenure as the SLP/Kenny Anthony mouthpiece he turned off people with his crass writing, contributed nothing to our development as a nation ( he simply did not have the capacity) and significantly hurt Dr. Anthony's image.

So Kennys incompetence was one issue but having Earl as his sidekick just compounded the issue.

More importantly at this point. If Kenny , after all he should have learnt about Earl, still allows him to mouth off at every inopportune chance, then we have to know that Dr. Anthony's incompetence and arrogance has only increased over the past three years rather than abated.

Can we possibly allow this man to be in charge of St. Lucia again ?

Anonymous said...

Yes, we can allow him but we won't take that chance because we are smart and we know where he'll lead us. He was there before so we know him, by the fruits we shall know them.

Does anybody know this guy and what part of Lucia he's from?

An Ottawa man was clinging to life in a Toronto hospital Saturday night after a mêlée at Thursday’s strip club in Peterborough days earlier.

Stevenson Auguste, 41, sustained severe and life-threatening blunt-force trauma to his head during the fray, which broke out at 1:15 a.m. Thursday, Peterborough police Det. Sean Nusink said.

“We believe there would have been about 20 people at the bar,” he said. “A large group” is believed to have been involved in the brawl, including about a half dozen staff who tried to break up the fight after alerting police.

Uniformed officers arrived within 10 minutes, Nusink said, but at that point the fight was already over and patrons had begun to scatter.

Nusink said club staff gave Auguste first-aid, but he was quickly taken to Toronto’s Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre after a quick stop at the Peterborough hospital.

Peterborough, which has a population of 75,000, is located 125 kilometres northeast of Toronto.

Auguste suffered a subdural hematoma in the brawl and was still in critical care at Sunnybrook on Saturday evening.

“The focus of the investigation now is to determine everyone’s respective roles at the bar, and confirming his mechanism of injury,” Nusink said. “Given that it is an adult entertainment club there’s the possibility that people might be hesitant coming forward.”

Thursday’s staff has been co-operative, Nusink said, but the strip club does not have security cameras installed, making it difficult to discover who may have been involved.

On Saturday, police were still trying to confirm the identity of everyone who was at the bar and were urging any witnesses to contact police.

Police have made no arrests.

Because police remained unsure of how Auguste was injured, they were “still in the process of determining if the injuries were the result of a criminal offence.”

Police will await a medical report confirming the cause of injury.

Nusink would not confirm Auguste’s identity, saying not all of his next of kin had been notified. But he said some of Auguste’s relatives were to make the trip to Toronto from St. Lucia.

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario was notified and will likely investigate the incident, but Nusink said Thursday’s is not known as a trouble spot in Peterborough. Nobody from the strip club would comment Saturday.

Witnesses should call Peterborough police at 705-876-1122.

U PEOPLE ARE AS MORONIC AS YOUR LEADER KING. DONT KNOW YOUR LEFT FROM YOUR RIGHT.

Anonymous said...

You people are as foolish as your leader Kenny Anthony to believe the SLP stand a chance at the next poll.

Anonymous said...

Go back to grammar school, u nit-wit."To believe the SLP 'stand' a chance????????" Dont go about trying to make Kenny supporters see him in a negative light. Instead you and your PM need to enroll at the nearest Kindergarten class. You and your 'highly esteemed' leader could use a lesson or two in basic language skills.

Who is Kenny?
Who is King? Who cares?

No more Kenny.

A bunch of fools reelected Kenny SLP leader today. Over 80,000 are going to make sure that he never sees the light of the PM office again.

Last three comments were all written by idiots without a speck of common sense in their brains. Just like their leader. Call SLP's fools; your choice; but at least we are smart enough to know what Stephenson King is ill-equipped to handle his job. What a loser!!!!!!!!

MPs and party hacks pick 20 people from each constitutiency who go to a convention to pick the political leader. Those 20 people are long time SLP supporters with links to the leadership and who have carved out their little sphere of influence within the party politics. They are also "hanger ons" looking for a little help if the party gets into power.

Each of them spend their time reading the internal political tea leaves to make sure they fall on the right side. They will always vote for Kenny now because there is no replacement.

Remember it was only when key figures in the SLP decided to get rid of Hunte then he was uncerimoneously dumped. The rank and file have no say in the process.

People like Skeete, Clarke, Walcott are in Kenny's pocket and only when they lose the next elections will they also dump Kenny. The other possibility is that if things pick up for the economy and the UWP brass keep their collective noses clean then the SLP top brass may revolt and dump Kenny before the next elections if the writing is on the wall.

Quite frankly based on the options they have to replace Kenny they should just keep him in place.

Here's an idea of the kind of delegates at yesterday's convention.

I saw this toothless woman, could hardly speak any english, rise to say that she support Docsters Kinny Hantony.

Wow, Earl you bring the one flambeau blogger out of the woodwork. The truth offends. King sit with the birds of taiwan to read a book with poor English. He is not fit to be Prime Minister. Yes, Vieux-Fort on Sunday, Labour confound the critics, Rick go shit in your pants, Kenny more man than you. Flambeaus using you now, Labour did it too. Rick is for the best paying party, now it is flambeau, he better stay with them because there is no where else to go. So blog Rick, you have all the time in the World, nobody gives a damn about what you have to say. We boycotting the star, jump high, jump low, Labour people want nothing to do with the uneducated King. King is not Kenny's opponent, and if you call Kenny arrogant, I guess all Labours and all bright St. Lucians are arrogant. Rick, blog all you like, you will be in your pampers eating arrowroot before we Labours do what you want. Rick you lose. Vieux-Fort was a blast, even the rain stayed away and God gave us a beautiful rainbow. You and Timothy don't want to talk about crowds again. lolololol

I read 53 comments and I imagined that those yellow pee-brained UWP tadpoles tried to prevent people from going to VF on Sunday and when that didn't work then they blogged even more....way - pap!!!

Anonymous said...

Please tell us what happen in VF. How many candidates were selected and who is who. Please give us the a run down.

Eager in Miami

Anonymous said...

The Labour Party ensured that there were enough sufficiently paid drivers and enough people were guaranteed rum and chicken to turn up in Vieux Fort. It is very simple for the SLP to get enough supporters in one place to make it look like something.

Leo and Walcott were calling and organizing all over the place because they wanted to make sure that VF looked as good as Dennery did for the UWP at the rally. Up to the last minute they were very worried that buying supporters would not work.

So what !

We already learnt in 2006 that paying for rallies does not an election make.

King is settling down. Chou has you looking stupid. All the SLP hacks can depend on now is their emotion and hope that people will be sufficiently dissatisfied with King to vote for Kenny. But they have already seen Kenny's failures.

Anonymous said...

Not so fast babe. We all know the money from China havn't arrived. Why you turning blue in the face so quickly. UWP can never win the next election.

Anonymous said...

LOL.True!True!

Anonymous said...

Strategically King also has the element of surprise on his side for the calling of an Elections. He also has a number of excellent issues coming his way including pent up demand by the tourism markets that will begin offloading visitors by 2010/11.

He has 25 months in which to make his decision. There are two or three excellent points where there will be a nexus of economic activity and other positives(which I am not inclined to mention here) when his trajectory will be on the upward swing.

If they have the knowledge or experience to plan and prepare for the moment Massa Kenny does not stand a chance. He will simply be swamped by the logic of the decision making leading up to elections.

Be afraid SLP, be VERY afraid !!!!
The bell tolls for thee !!
