What a Queen Elizabeth cruise ship load load of bull!

That is testing the reader's credulity to the limit!

This is one humongous load of spin. Perhaps the author should be retitled 'spin doctor par excellence'!

Poor Jose. His eyes are growing dim or he thinks that we are all dumb.

Excellent! Peter. Keep it up. I am sure they will add you to the CARDRES LIST.

I have never in my life read anything so full of crap and foolish selfagrandizement. Seems you write to see how confusing you can make a sentence or how convoluted you can make a thought.

SPEAK CLEARLY MAN!

Good luck with your ego.

"Those who know me well will also know that my ego is too underdeveloped and my eyes too focused on the horizon to allow me time in which to hatch a plot aimed at hurting the leader of the opposition"...

My God, Josie!!...You are the master of hatching plots. Are you going senile? Can't you remember the late 1970's and early 80's; and, here you are pretending to be 'goody too shoes' about not having time to hatch plots?

Man, you are beyond belief!! I am left speechless, quite frankly!!

I am so confused. 1st you say the commission has not met. Then you say the commission's work has been leaked before it has started... Did the Voice's editor really allow this to be publish in the paper? Did he read this at all? What a shame!

Cut the man some slack. He is simply operating just like the MPs that the people send the House. Mere idiots, and shate-shooters!

It is a waste of people's time in this day and age to write such utter crap! Get a life!

"When silence is not consent"...why then, you, traitor, judas Josie is silent on the STABEX FUNDS?

The likes of you can fool the people only some times; but not all the time...go away!!

Anonymous said...

If Josie is quilty of STABEX FUNDS then SLP has to share in that shame. Stabex was under SLP just like Rochamel, helenites, helenair was under Kenny.

Keep your head up hire Mr. Josie. It's anger like this that makes people turn away from SLP.

Rick is right. They have an agenda to control what comes out in the press. Imagine labour is opposition but wants to influence the press? Could you imagine they in government again?

hulla said...

well done Peter...I rather like your last line in the article

Thanks PJ. Please don't stop.

I think the LPM will replace the SLP.

The confluence of recent events points to some fundamental changes taking place within the society.

Kenny in two terms EXPLODED the myth that degrees alone can lead to clear, uncluttered thinking and good decision making.

That put such a damper on the population that it reinforced the idea that intellectuals are useless as political leaders. Now we have in St. Lucia the other idiotic idea to come out of all this. Those who go to university have spent too much time studying and are too impractical to lead. Let us govern by common sense

So we have Jukebois-thinking St. Lucians who now would welcome to political office, anybody with a few CXCs to manage the billion-dollar economy. Haiti here we come.

Now the political have-beens are busy trying to whitewash their past. The article linked to these comments show how stupid some people think MOST St. Lucians really are!

There are problems in the SLP's camp because, people like Chastenet and Kenny have an attitude of entitlement to lead because of their colour and class. Kenny engineered a reversal of an admired policy of term limits.

The entitlement of the coloured and merchant elite is backfiring on Kenny. LaCorbinere did not make it because he could not walk a mile in the moccasins of his constituents. For two consecutive terms with two huge majorities Kenny PROVED, like Compton before, that he did not have the answers to lift the masses of people of darker hue from a future of dead-end, low-paying jobs. Two ghettos developed during his time in office.

St. Lucians are tired of the bunch of jokers, crooks and drug dealers sent to parliament every five years like the people of Choiseul normally do. Jose is just showing how far he is part of the St. Lucian jokers that once sat in parliament.

LPM may well replace either one or both of the two main parties even, as the major party in St. Lucia, if current trends continue.

I have seen that many times on this board that "two ghettoes were developed during the SLP term" I want the person or persons to PLEASE name these two ghettoes.

Anonymous said...

That person should also say where in St. Lucia are there any ghettos. Thanks.

I wander what more will they blame on the SLP and Kenny for again?

What I am more interested in, in what this article deals with, is whether anyone learns or is willing to learn from Peter Josie's comments, firstly on his chronicle of the former Tourism Minister, and then the matters of the issues raised at a meetings/s of the Boundaries Commission.

Just a few quick comments:
I really don't at this time want to get into the issue of Josie's Stabex Funds. Why? Because from time immemorial, we have had, the FAUSTIN AFFAIR, the FUNDING SCHEME AFFAIR, THE ROCHAMEL AFFAIR, THE DAHER BUILDING AFFAIR, THE POINT SERAPHIN AFFAIR, THE HELENITES BUILDING IN NEW-YORK AFFAIR, THE HELENAIR AFFAIR, THE NCA SCANDAL, ETC. ETC. Get the picture. This is what we have had enough of, Just more than our fair share. So, to make a long story short, I honestly believe, if we could have a TRUTH and RECONCILIATION EXERCISE in St. Lucia, and after that with the facts, put a number of those soundrels/rascals at Bordelais to serve their respective times, for looting St. lucia, for a minimum of at leasdt seven years, St. Lucia would begin on the right path.Eleminate through Prison incarceration, where they truly belong those rascals, both elected Officials and public servants, afterall, it is the latter, I believe in the main, that facilitate that looting.

Take the case of that "cruel little men" at work, against Richard Frederick, although I hold no brief for him, but fairness is fairness, with Ausbert D'Auvergne, at the front, and using John Broughton, Terrence Leonard, Marie-Ange Louis etc. etc. All hatching their evil plans which backfired, like the story of Mordecai and Haman. The fact is, it is now time to punish those rascals in politics and their henchmen, the use as masquerading as civil servants.

On the matter of Phillip Pierre. Serves him right. He and the rest, like Ignatius Jean,Felix Finisterre, Damian Greaves and so on, like men with balls, not eggs that are fragile, stood up to Kenny Anthony, the labour party would not be in this quandry. But like so many of us black crabs, we will lick up butt, notwithstanding any little brain power we may have, because in my view, we the black crabs, simply lack self-esteem.Kenny Anthony does not have the level of technical intellect/know-how he pretended to have, and that was very clear to those of us who could tell and knew better. If the rest like Pierre had supported Mario Michel, when Anthony was shitting around, the Party would be better off today. But the black crab mentality, could not see the long-range horizon, they can only see, the tip of their noses, in the short-term. Will folks ever learn? I am beginning to be convinced that these particular breed, be it yellow or red poisonous creepers, those poisonous snakes and species of slimy worms, those crawling creatures, those vicious flies on the walls, both in the UWP and SLP, must be flitted-out, if St. Lucia is to lower its illeteracy and be poised for some slim level of prosperity.

I agree in part.

Josie eh say nothing that is wrong there. We have had slimballs in both SLP and UWP.

Anonymous said...

Some people really believe that they can separate Stabex from the SLP? When you try to tie Peter Josie to Stabex, don't forget what government was in power. Josie, Odlum and all those the SLP don't want to mention today are a product of what the SLP is today. You are a product of their politics. Deal with it.

It's like the pope saying that he is not responsible for catholic priest moslesting small boys.

Anonymous said...

If the RANK AND FILE of the SLP, lily-livered St. Lucian yes-men and yes-women had stuck to the impressive and progressive term limits the SLP would be sweeping the poles and marching to victory on renewed leadership.

SLP is facing same-old same-old policies and leadership. We've all been there and done that.

What looks like very healthy and progressive group roughly untainted with a past in government is the new LPM.

Looks like overnight we have eliminated the drug gangs in places like the Grave Yard. The boys on the block have disappeared too. Thank God. The ghettos have gone that way too.

Hocus Focus my black ass. Put it in your pipe and smoke it through you know what. Deal with the issues in there you bloody idiot. Not what you're hallucinating. Ain't it?
