Dear ABETTA Country,

I think this is a very good article which as we say hits the nail on its head and says clearly that our road network eh ready yet. I hope the policy makers especially the Minister for Communication and works and his engineers read this article.

It is time we start to see the strong link between a good road network and a vibrant and growing economy.

Look at for example what is happening with traffic in Rodney Bay area especially as we have the new Baywalk Mall and many other newly opened shops and business in that area. There is a constant build up of vehicles around the main junction there interrupting the flow of traffic in both directions. A bit of forward planning could have avoided that. It is still not too late. What they need to do is slab the river running between the road and reduit part from as far back as possible on both sides of the junction and that will allow vehicles that are not turning into the Rodney Bay Strip to go up or down without interruption. They made a mistake with putting the bus layby or stop there. It needs to be relocated after this remodelling of that hot junction is done. If not is mayhem. We should learn the lesson of last christmas and move fast to correct it.
