The IMF has just given UWP $8 plus millions in financial assistance. The opposition parties will be hard put to match the Flambeau's giveaways.

What you telling us is after all that mess this government has this country in for 4 years. St Lucians will be so stupid to accept GIVEAWAYS as you call it in the last year, and put these worthless men back into office. If we ever make that mistake again, we do not like to see our island to develop. Do you believe accepting moneys form the IMF is a good idea? This government is desperate so they accepting money from the IMF to leave the burden on the country. Every country who have gone to the IMF has gone to the dogs, so that is what you want for us in St Lucia, just because you want UWP to win the election.

Rick Wayne once said St. lucia is an island full of JACK ASSES. At first I took offence to this ststement, but today I see Rick is absolutely correct. My reason is only a set of idiots will vote an 82 year old foreigner to be their prime minister. A man who never build a hospital for the nation cuz when he is sick he had money to go to Miami or Martinique.Micoud People kill St LUCIA.

Taking everything into consideration, the Labour Party Government is best suited to govern Saint Lucia at this present junction. We cannot afford to play bias political games with the minds of our people. The future of our country to maintain the status quo in the region will depend on the wisdom of the electorate. The results of which at the end of this year (or whenever) will determine on whether we as a nation sink or swim among our Caribbean counterparts. This may very well be our defining moment and final chance.

One of my conserns was whether Kenny had learnt any lessons from defeat in the last election. It would seem that he has learnt a little humility and that is a good sign. One of the major failings of the SLPadministration was their failure to market the vast changes they created in the society, this was possibly due to the focus on the PM and not too much on the government and its achievemens. Kenny must also learn to desist from his micro management style and allow ministers to fulfill their portfolio unhindered.
As to the claim that the people calling for his retirement from polituics are just UWPs is questioable all political parties in defeat question the suitability of the leader to redress the situation, and guess what there is nothing wrong with that, moreover Kenny should not interprete those within the party asking that question as being disloyal. In fairness Kenny is quite able to lead the party to victory, but so are others, however he musat realise a second defeat at the polls must result in his resignation of the leadership.

Give us some proof that Kenny did not learn from his last defeat. I believe THE PEOPLE OF ST LUCIA have learnt from the defeat of Kenny, because we got a government who is MUCH WORSE than Kenny administration. This government has achieved VERY LITTLE in 4 years except for a little scratching here and there by the Taiwanese. How do you want the SLP to market their achievements? The SLP do not have to market any achievements, because everything is in full view for us to see. Anyway i am happy you know the SLP had achievements. What do you mean by micro management? Ministers do not work independently in their ministries, they work according to the government POLICIES, these policies are formulated at cabinet meetings. Where did you get that nonsense that a leader must retire if they loose an election. Did Compton retire after loosing? Did Odlum retire? Who in the SLP is asking for Kenny to retire? I though it was the people in the SLP who re- elected Kenny as leader. Where are you getting your information from? Kenny did not hand pick himself as leader, he was VOTED IN. so how can you say there are other people to lead the party. The only person who was not voted for and was hand picked is KING, he is the one you should be questioning, not Kenny. Get your facts straight.

'Tis been said that to err is human. yes, Dr Anthony made some mistakes and at the expense of the nation, but he has acknowledged that. He has had time enough to see where he went wrong and to come up with a different strategy to revitalize this country. It is evident that this current government has made a fiasco with the management of this country and that has to be addressed. The people are no longer happy with this government. Among other things they have changed it into a total Police State and we need that situation changed like yesterday. When people voted the UWP into office, we had not anticipated such a colossal mess. Now we face pure mayhem and madness compliments Stephenson King, his sidekick Richard Frederick and the other cronies who make for the rest of the government. The idiocy of our Prime Minister is beyond comprehension. The truth is,he does not have the ability to lead and he lacks the wisdom to make decisions that would be beneficial to this nation. Rather than lead this country he is allowing himself to be misled. Suddenly he has joined the ranks of the arrogant and egotistic so much so that he has failed to feel the suffering of his people. He talks too much and the words are only prepared speeches meant only for his lips but does not make for positive change. Suffice to say that when he acts it is to the detriment of his people. Under his leadership, the nation only survives...it does not live. Our people struggle in vain to wake from the reverie that envelopes
them while the corruption spreads its vicious tentacles devouring our very humanity. Our leader is too blind to see, too deaf to hear, too proud to listen, to self absorbed to realize the catastrophe that his government has created, too anxious to please Richard Frederick and the rest of his cabinet, too proud to admit his mistakes, too dumb to fix what is wrong with this country. Therefore this government and all that it stands for has got to go! Dr Kenny Anthony might have made some grave errors. We have tarred and feathered him, hurled at him every insult we could conjure up, we have accused him of the worst crimes any politician can commit, We have even regarded him as Satan reincarnate and we have nailed him to the cross. Let him be resurrected now and take away this scourge called the UWP from this country.
And to those who would read into this and assume that I an avid SLP supporter, think again, for I have never voted neither for one nor the other. I've never been around when voting time comes but this time I'll be there. Mark my words, if the UWP government gets another four years in office, Saint Lucia is done for, particularly with Mr King at the helm. But we already know that don't we?

Ron Paul, Representative for the 14th district , Victoria, Freeport, Texas said of the IMF, "If not corrupt, borrowers of countries with little economic productivity. Either way most recipient nations end up with huge debts that they cannot service, which only adds to their poverty and instability. IMF ultimately corrupts those countries it purports to help, by keeping afloat reckless political institutions that destroy their own economies."

It is obvious that King does not give a damn about Saint Lucia or Saint Lucia. I cannot understand why he would want St Lucia to get hooked up with the IMF. That Institution is well known to have destroyed many nations and is still on the warpath. Doesn't King know? The examples are all around him, Argentine, Greece, Indonesia, Jamaica,to name a few.
As if Saint Lucia do not have enough problems, he wants to get us deeper in debt, corruption, crime and with no way for us to get out. What is with this numbskull? This prime minister is the essence of stupidity. Somebody needs to shake some sense into him if it not already too late.

Didn't he have the same false hope the last time around? Kenny is yet to understand that he no longer inspire the majority of St Lucians.

If you are so sure about the majority in St Lucia, tell King call election now, and we will see if the people will the same mistake twice.
