Congratulations to Monroe College for pulling of another scam on unsuspecting St Lucians. Isn,t this entrapment? Or the good old bait and switch? Come and take a course for free. Free books, free food and the usual "feel good" treatment but nothing of substance in the classroom. Three college credits? For what? How many contacts hours were met by these by 15 and 16 year old. Maybe the education officer should do his due dillegence on this programme. Or maybe these students fit right into the glorified high school that Monroe College is. Lord help us St Lucians if these innocent children are conned into enrolling at Money-roe College

Great job MONROE COLLEGE! Do not be distracted by pessimist who try to water-down or belittle the unique service and education offered at your accredited college. I do hope that the off-shore Atlantic Medical school at the Wellness Centre (LORD HAVE MERCY) has the accreditation to serve St. Lucians as well. GO MONROE, your're simply the best NO DOUBT ABOUT that.

Oh goodness, the first blogger has it all wrong. Monroe is staffed with some of the most intelligent, qualified, dignified and competent professors. The blogger sounds like a bitter former staff. I bid the blogger all the best in HIS/her endeavors.

The first blogger is obviously spreading propaganda about Monroe College. Dr. Ephrem, please know that St. Lucia supports Monroe college, and appreciates all your contributions to the people of St. Lucia. Keep up the good work.

The first blogger needs to understand the definition of entrapment. How can someone in their right mind relegate such a great initiative to the St. Lucian youth by Monroe college as a scam, an entrapment? I feel sorry for this seemingly bitter personality. The people of St.Lucia congratulates you, Monroe College. Thank you very much Monroe for creating jobs for St. Lucians and for giving St. Lucians and neighboring islands hope for improved human capital and skills set for a better economy and social condition. Hope our government can put a lid on this propaganda. Don't give up the good work. Your service and quality of education surpasses so many other educational especially those offshore schools. Hope the staff, professors and students can remain resolute in their determination to continue to raise the mantle of quality education, that is, among other quality institutions like UWI in the region.

Please people, Monroe College has the accreditation, but don't confuse accreditation with reputation. People over the years have questioned Monroe College's accreditation when it is their reputation as a credible "college" that should be questioned.

When will we appreciate what is good for us and for our youth into making our country a better educated community. In the abundance of water the fool is thirsty. Continue Monroe College. We need at least one college graduate in every home within the next ten years and you are assisting.
Never mind what a former self aggrandizing, callous disregard for people and an exaggerated pomposity had to be the first blob to say. What goes around will come around. Just wait.

listen. the 40+ hours needed for college credits were "not" met by these kids. The class was not the full 15 weeks as required and on top of that attendance was no where 100% on those Saturday mornings.

Sure some of them got a taste of college, but the 1st blogger
is closer to the truth than the rest of you.
