Dr. Wilshire was being diplomatic and sensitive. The OAS observer team was talking mainly about the distribution of funds given to individuals on the line to vote.

LLL you always assume you know what you do not know.

It is well known that the issue of campaign financing, especially from foreigners and anonymous donors is a serious concern of Transparency International.

We as a people must know in full detail, who is behind our political parties, flushing money in and out, so that we know who our politicians are going to be beholden to. That of course will tell us a heck of a lot ahead of time.

Are white collar criminals and money launderes actively involved? And who in our politics are involved and in bed with them?

Also, where exactly does the money given to the Political Parties go. In the personal pockets and bank accounts of political hoodlums? We as a people must know exactly what those funds were used for, AND FROM WHOM THEY WERE RECEIVED.

BOTH PATIES HAVE BEEN ENGAGED IN WHAT IS CLEARLY WRONG, and we look forward to Kenny Anthony, starting a new game show, and a new way forward on this very important national issue.

We are tired of politicians selling out our country to all and sundry and who knows to international drug runners and international criminals.

All that crap must now stop. Pronto.

We want no more pussy footing on this matter.

Pay heed Mr. Anthony et al.

Observing from afar:
I do hope that we that have put another set of people in power to rule, become also proactive in monitoring all activities of government. Putting government in power and not holding them to their campaign promises is negligent to all. Now the government elect has a job to do and so do the people of St Lucia. God bless, and we will continue to pray. REMEBER WE THE PEOPLE HAS THE POWER! WE SHOULD NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO SELL ST LUCIA'S TREASURES OUT TO FOREIGN ENTITIES. WAKE UP ST LUCIAN MONITOR YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS CLOSLY. REMEMBER ST LUCIA IS NOT FOR SALE TO THE HIGEST BIDER.

The OAS is calling on the small states for electoral finance reform, while the US Supreme Court is denouncing that as illegal in the US. Is the US part of the OAS? Congratulations to the SLP and lessons learnt from the past must guide your future plans and attitudes.
